This carport was shipped quickly in (2) large boxes. Contents were very organized and each piece labeled...included instruction booklet which was fairly easy to follow and (2) pairs of gloves to use while assembling. Easy to put together, both frame and canopy fabric itself were tight and sturdy after assembly and anchoring. I did so much research before purchasing this carport, as there are so many options available on Amazon. We were SO PLEASED with this experience from start to finish. So far, the carport has stood up to 25-30 mph winds and been through 16+ inches of snow. It has held up exceptionally well and kept the car safe and dry. During heavy snow periods (just to be safe), I went into the carport and poked the fabric ceiling with the handle of the snow shovel -- the snow just cascades off in big sheets so easily. [Sometimes the snow cascades off by itself, depending on how wet the snow really is.] Very happy with this product. We weren't crazy about the beige color or windows when purchasing...but so happy to have both features. The beige won't show dirt as easy as white would and the windows allow us to glance into the carport easily and make sure everything is okay without having to unzip the doors and physically go in...also, the windows are just pretty! **Some installation/anchoring advice**...I wasn't super confident in the single small tent spike they provide for each of the eight feet. We went to home depot and bought 12" galvanized nails to drive into the second hole (otherwise would be empty) of each foot. Made me feel better knowing we were about to get some harsh winter weather and that the structure was sitting on pretty soft ground (grass). We also upgraded some of the tie-down cable/rope spiral anchors from what was provided to heavier-duty, longer railroad spike type anchors that we had on hand. Maybe consider upgrading anchors to something similar if the structure will be in a harsh/windy environment to prevent any catastrophe. But the structural frame itself seems high quality and sturdy. Solid construction easy to assemble, I was able to assemble the entire thing by myself. Good quality tarps only issue I had was 6 of the poles were damaged with large dents. I contacted the seller they were very helpful and agreed to ship me new poles the next day. Other than that I am happy with the purchase! ... show more

Paid a little more, but i feel like this will last years and years. All those $100-150 Ez-Popup tents dont last one night out side if it rains or wind. We had a pretty windy night with maybe 1/2" of rain. This this is a champ. My wife has a daycare, so our intent is the kids to be outside and when it rains, or have sun shade since we have no trees in our backyard. Since this is up against my house, its stay pretty dry underneath, but i do need to figure out a way to have a rain gutter on the side under the house as it does drip on that side and will run on the concrete, i have good drainage and slope, so hopefully with some sort of gutter system it will stay pretty dry under it. Instructions are very simple, but i did have a #1 pole where i needed a #2, and i was fighting with that for 10 minutes before i notice. I assembly and raised this all by myself. So can be a one person job. I didnt notice the gloves until i was done, since they are in the back with the Wind ropes. So your hands will get real dirty. Also since i need access from my house and wanted another opening to my yard, i pulled back two of the sides. The sides do touch the ground, so if its windy you will hear it swooshing around, i might add something to hold the middle of the panels, but we dont get a ton of wind, so maybe ill be ok. All in All 5 stars! very happy with this canopy as i search thru a bunch of them. Im also checking if i can put a Propane Patio Heater inside, i believe with all the ventilation, i should be fine, and the 9 foot center... hopefully it doesnt melt! ... show more

This is probably a fine protection tent for a one day event, but my wife wanted a winter season car port for next to the barn. I got this, thinking it would serve but it ripped itself a new one at the first wintery mix rain storm of the year. The metal bracing tore out and bent over. The tiny little stakes tore out of the ground and smashed her car windows. The only thing that save her car body from getting totalled by flying debris beating it like Loki at the end of avengers, was one remaining rope I had tied to the barn foundation. I can't fix or tear this trash down until the rain stops and I'm really angry right now. I'm not angry at the manufacturer. I'm angry at myself for buying this thing and thinking it would work for a season. Waste of my money and now I have to waste my one day off redesigning, fixing, and cleaning it up too. I'm going to try and anchor it with 3ft rebar spikes, for now, and shore up the ripped pipe with plumbing parts when it's safe to stand under it again. What this design needs are some cross members to keep the lower legs from pushing towards each other when the wind balloons out the sidewall. There's no shear strength in this design at all. I tried to fill buckets with sand for each leg and the wind lifted that up and dumped it out.. no good. With the climate around here changing so drastically the last couple years and wind picking up to speeds normally seen in hurricanes down south, I can't see this tent being anything other that a nice idea with a terrible outcome. Only buy it if you live in an area with no weather. ... show more
