The reason for my purchase was to play clone hero on my Windows PC. For single player it worked amazingly once you figure out how to map the buttons. Unfortunately it won't work for multiplayer because the PC thinks it's a keyboard and if you added another controller you would just add another keyboard and the controllers would be overlapping with each other. ... show more

Ordered this and the strum button doesn’t even sort of work, returned it and got a replacement and that one didn’t work either. Just getting a refund, not worth wasting my time and almost 100 dollars over.

This third-party wireless guitar controller works absolutely amazingly - I always liked this shape/style of controller (never really liked the Stratocaster), and getting this brand new, all sealed up in box, I was very excited. Turned on and synced to dongle on PS3 immediately, all buttons and functions were perfect, with one small caveat - - the manual for the guitar states that you gotta use this one little button to switch between Guitar Hero games and Rock Band games (they seem to use different internal coding) - the mode you think you need might not always be correct. - sometimes rock band games need the guitar to be in GH mode to play the game correctly - sometimes GH games need it to be in RB mode to play the game correctly. Other than that one little point, the guitar works perfectly, and since it works for all games, what does it really matter what “mode” the guitar is in, ya know? It works great, and I would buy it again 10/10 ... show more

So first off it does what it says it does. And it works. However. This item is not amazing. Feels cheap. Strumming is a little loose imo. And buttons are a little clunky. I’ve put 20 hours on it and my batteries are still going strong. The controller shuts it self off to save battery life if you leave it on. Works on pc, steam deck, and ps3. Great for clone hero and you can even use it on emulation. But once again that’s where it stops being a good product imo. Also really wild that you have to mod the controller if you want to use 2 on the same system. You know because it’s a keyboard not a controller. That’s right bet you didn’t see that when looking to buy this. That was my major issue. Fortunately I only grabbed one even tho I had planned on buying 2. They need to rework the coding make it a joystick or a controller so you can use more than one. Or make it super simple to rebind the keys for the buttons at no extra cost. ... show more
