The reason for my purchase was to play clone hero on my Windows PC. For single player it worked amazingly once you figure out how to map the buttons. Unfortunately it won't work for multiplayer because the PC thinks it's a keyboard and if you added another controller you would just add another keyboard and the controllers would be overlapping with each other. ... show more

UPDATED REVIEW: Ive played on this guitar for a long time already. I even went as far to 5 star every guitar hero 3 song on expert. However there was a couple things holding me back the whole time. The first problem is that its super sensitive and likes to shut off on its own. I noticed it does this whenever I try to reach for the star power button for some reason. It ruined a lot of sections for me so I had to start over many many times because of this issue. The next issue it has is that the star power doesnt work when you tilt the guitar like youre supposed to for that method. Even if you do the motion slowly and aggressively. Then on top of that, the star power just activates on its own randomly. I'd be trying to save up star power for certain sections and it would just straight up waste it by activating when it wants to. There is a minor issue as well where the neck of the guitar is a bit wiggly and not very secure from where its attached to the body. Other than those issues it works. The buttons are responding and the strum bar works. And there is barely if not any lag between the console and the guitar. ... show more
