I’m definitely skeptical when it comes to buying non-Harley parts from my Harley Davidson motorcycle. But instead of spending $500 or more, I ended up going this route and buying this back rest with the recommended docking hardware which I will also write a review for. It works perfectly when it’s on the bike And my wife absolutely loves it. The only flaw that I would say is it’s a bit tricky trying to take it off the motorcycle so I end up having to take one side off and then you have to almost pull the sissy bar to whatever side is still locked in and try to work out that locking system on that side of the bike to take it fully off. I’m not sure if maybe the docking hardware is slightly too short or maybe the sissy bar is a little too wide , but once it’s on the bike, it is very sturdy. I will be purchasing the Harley set up in the near future but this definitely gets me from point a to point B when I’m riding two up. ... show more

Good product. Fits well and is tight once it’s on. It is a little hard to get the rear latches to lock in but once it’s on it’s not going anywhere. The wife loves the support and says the pad is comfortable. Overall, for the price I have no complaints

Fits perfectly on my 2022 Road Glide. Straight forward installation. Quick simple mounting and dismounting. Only issue I had with the item was trying to line up the preexisting holes on the backside of the pad. Overall, great quality and sturdy. I purchased this to use when I wasn't using my touring pack and was riding a second rider. This was a good deal for the price and the quality of the product. Everything seemed premium quality but I did not like the design and it wouldn't fit. Issue 1: This would not fit. I have a 2009 Harley Davidson Electra Glide FLHT and Amazon showed that it would fit, but it was about 1/2 inch to long for my touring pack. You can see this in the first two pictures. Issue 2: The second issue wasn't really an issue, I just didn't like the design. The back rest does not actually bolt into the frame. It slides into place and I'm guessing that the tension is supposed to hold the seat in place which doesn't seem safe to me. You can see in the third picture that there is an indention where the bar goes and then you tighten down the backrest, but it just seems to me that it would be safer to just bolt it in instead of tightening it down. The last couple pictures are of my bike in case someone wants to compare with theirs. Like I said this is a good quality backrest, it just didn't fit and I didn't like the padded part and the way it was designed. Thanks! ... show more

Well I received it today and was expecting great quality but was very disappointed. First the pad was very flimsy and didn’t feel safe for my wife. Also it was very hard to put on, I had to pull on the sides so that it would mount on. It was hard to take it off as well. Set for return.

Not as high quality as the OEM sissy bar but it is very serviceable. Does the job and looks the same, also perfect fit same as OEM. On the OEM the pad is backed with a hard surface on the whole back this one isn’t. On the OEM passenger can use it to sturdy themselves when getting on, this one is not stable enough I for that it will give if you put weight on the top. But like I said it looks the same and works well and for the money a great deal. Recommended. ... show more
