  • Great paddle for midrange price.
Color: X14 - AIR (14mm)
This paddle is way better than other paddles I've used around the same price point. Especially the last paddle I was using by Wilson.

  • So far so good

I like this paddle for the price. Is a good beginner paddle for me

  • Nice Paddle
Color: X16 - PRO (16mm)
I have gone through several paddles and by far this is my favorite. I usually spend money on my Paddles and not buy cheap ones. This one was my best. Mike

  • Lightweight
Color: X14 - AIR (14mm)
The media could not be loaded. Our community started a pickle ball league so I ordered this on recommendation of another player. I really like that it is lightweight and does not get heavy throughout the game. It has a nice cushiony grip that doesn’t spin in my hand when sweaty. This paddle has a nice ping, providing excellent direction of the ball. Great quality and well made, makes the game fun and would be a great gift! ... show more

  • Good paddle grip
Color: X16 - PRO (16mm)
Good paddle grip, great spin, power is a little lacking. Getting used to the dimensions of the paddle may ale awhile, overall a good paddle for the price.

  • Very nice paddle, but I wouldn't call it extraordinary
Color: X16 - PRO (16mm)
This paddle does a lot of things right, and in my opinion achieves a good balance between control, power and spin. The downside is that the paddle isn't superior in any of those three categories. That is, this paddle played just fine, but it didn't blow me away with its power, control or spin compared to my other paddles. The packaging is very classy, and I really like the understated looks. Insum thoughtfully provides six overgrips, probably assuming that many intermediate to advanced players use them. The paddle feels solid and is quick to maneuver. Ground strokes and serves are solid, but you won't blast your opponent with blazing speed. Quite honestly, it felt very similar to one or two other paddles I own, and for me it didn't provide a significant upgrade. Having said that, the paddles I'm comparing this one to are very nice. If you're upgrading from a multi-pack paddle or a paddle with fewer features, you might be wowed by this Insum paddle. I ordered this paddle because the product description claims it has "maximum spin," and spin is an important part of my game. I would say this paddle provides "adequate spin," but I wouldn't go so far as to say it has maximum spin. There's a lot of competition in this price range (currently priced at $100, which is much more reasonable than its list price). As I said, this is a nice all-around paddle if you want something that doesn't focus on power, control or spin, but advancing intermediates who are willing to pay this much for an upgraded paddle will probably want something that gives them a bit more power, control or spin even if it's at the expense of one or two of the three considerations. (I.e., more power but less control.) This is a nice paddle and I really hoped it would blow me away. The fact that it didn't do that doesn't make it any less nice, and it could be the right paddle for you. ... show more

  • I want to not like it, but it's great!
Color: X14 - AIR (14mm)
I've been playing with this paddle for about a month now. I'm a 4.0 player. The first thing that struck me upon first inspection was that the surface has a LOT of texture. I mean I could nearly file my nails with this paddle. The grip, although white - which I don't like, is supple and feels amazing. It's obvious to me that Insum is trying to emulate a Joola paddle in this case. When I got it, the price was $125. Now it's $130. I've seen it as low as $83. It's a great paddle for the money (and I have 3 Joolas). Warranty says 180 day-limited. I'm not sure how well they respond, but 180 days seems better than Franklin's 90 days. So how does it play. I'll just say this. My Holbrook and Joola paddles stay in my bag now. I play with this Insum all the time. The power is good, the dink feel is good, not great. The spin is out of this world! I can get a serve to curve almost 3 feet. I have made the receiver's partner move out of the way because the ball was coming at them and curved to land in the odd side of the court. I have curved balls around the post and catch the line. It's a lot of fun when you need it. Backspin returns are awesome too. I really can't say anything bad other than the vague warranty info (or lack of info). I'll be playing in a tourney soon. Can't wait to see how it goes! ... show more
