It was pretty easy to assemble, but the metal frame broke in a little over a month. Would not recommend. Edit: I reached out to Trekassy and I was surprised to get a response in less than an hour. They quickly sent out a replacement and it arrived in two days ON A SUNDAY!!!!!! So far I would say that they have great customer service. The replacement was easy to assemble and is already in much better condition. The ropes aren’t frayed and the swing feels much sturdier. I will use the replacement and give further updates later. ... show more

I am so disappointed in this product that promised to hold up to 700 pounds, and I believed it. My 5 yr old child is only 50 pounds. While he was swinging in the air, the swing broke and tilted causing him to land on his face on the ground. He almost broke his jaw and cried for hours. I tried to contact the seller but I was ignored. I contacted Amazon and was told I would get a refund. But this is more than a matter of a refund. This is about false advertisement and how unsafe this product is. Who knows what will happen to the next child that is on it. It had cracks at all joints, so the integrity of the material is not what is claimed. BE CAUTIOUS! ... show more

I have a 4 year old, a 9 year old and a 16 year old. We put this up with one strap on the limb of a giant maple tree in our backyard. Where we wanted to put it didn't really flatten out (it has a kind of knot there) so we put a few screws to keep the strap from sliding down. The kids love it and I am now looking for some kind of automatic swing device so I don't have to push them anymore. No wear and tear yet that I have noticed. We did put a hook on the tree so we can put it out of the way to hopefully give the grass a chance underneath it. Have had it a month or so I think. ... show more

Bought this as a holiday gift and put it together today... I am a little worried about the construction Pros + a lot of the pros are based on what you read... weight, etc + the ropes definitely seem very well put together + there are 2 configurations to attach to the tree, which I like Cons - the instructions are tiny and hard to read - the wrench they send fits the nuts, but when you tighten the nut, it’s not deep enough.. you have to wriggle to make sure it gets tight - the styrofoam around the ring seems very cheap.. - the middle seems very plastic... the rope ones seem more sturdy - I’m not sure I’m sold on the quality of the metal of the ring ... show more

Overall, this swing is an okay buy. It’s relatively easy to put together, at least in theory. We had a lot of difficulty sliding the bars into one another (it took two of us). Apart from that, setting it up and hanging it were pretty straightforward. It’s bright and fun and has versatility for how to hang it. However, the frame began warping and bending within a week, and now the saucer is no longer flat and seems to bend more each week. While the company claims a 700-lb limit (I assume for for the straps?), the swing itself can’t even handle an average 8-year-old without becoming misshapen. The material that covers the frame has also begun to show wear and tear, even after only a month. This might be fun and hold up a bit longer for very young (and small!) children, but it clearly doesn’t live up to its hype and lacks durability. ... show more

I bought this swing to switch out one of our swings on our outdoor play set. I’m so happy with my purchase! Assembly was super quick and easy. It attached easy with the carabiners that came with it. I also love that we can take it with us when we go on a trip and attach it to a tree. I am able to sit on it with both kids (5,7) and it is comfortable for all of us. Another feature that I think it’s great, is the option to adjust the height. It’s super comfortable. Definitely recommend it! ... show more

We all love it! It didn't take long to assemble and was easy to put up. Seems very sturdy and the children have a wonderful time on it! We've been taking ours down and bringing it in when we're done just to help it last longer. It's very easy to take down and bring in and then put back up with its big clips.
