    • Poor suction
I ordered this pet vacuum hoping I had possibly found a solution to my dog hair problem. Unfortunately, this product has left me disappointed. The brush on this vacuum doesn’t remove much hair at all. My dog sheds terribly, so I’ve never found a brush that wasn’t able to remove large amounts of hair from him with ease. I think the bristles on this brush are either too thin, or too sparse to actually remove much hair. The hair I was able to remove stayed stuck in the brush, and wasn’t pulled down into the vacuum. When I retracted the bristles of the brush, the hair was vacuumed into the bin. The suction was fairly decent on that first batch of hair, but the hair immediately blocked the tiny air filter inside the bin. Even though the bin was nowhere near full, there was no more suction because filter was clogged. After that, the vacuum was useless. The furniture attachment had the same outcome as the brush. If the bin was completely empty of hair, a small amount of hair could be vacuumed into the bin, but it would immediately clog up the filter, making the vacuum useless. Surprisingly the sound of the vacuum didn’t seem to bother my dog, nor did the brush itself. I really wanted this product to work well, and help me keep up with some of my dog’s shedding. With just an easy slide, you can change the vacuum head to a brush head and use it to groom your pet. It is actually easy to operate, there are two buttons for the settings. This tool has saved my allergies lol. I use it almost daily for my dogs hair. She's got medium length hair that sticks to EVERYTHING and this baby sucks it all up!!!! So easy to use ready to go right out of the box, a single charge lasts a long time and it looks small but baby got power okay! I love it and would recommend. Now here's the but, THE PRICE IS TOO HIGH. I disagree with the $100 price tag as my household vacuum that was half that price can do the same thing, so for that I took 2 stars.     • Does not work well for larger dogs
I was skeptical that this would be an effective deshedding/grooming tool for my 3 large Huskies, and I was right. The shortcomings of this product were obvious within a few minutes. First, the suction is not very strong. So, when I brushed even a single stroke, the hair just clung to the brush and did not get sucked into the bin. Good thing, because the bin is so tiny it can barely hold a single clump of my dogs' fur. No big deal - brush, pull it off the brush and repeat, right. Well, another problem is that the power switch is right where you grasp the wand with you hand, so nearly every stroke I would end up powering the unit off. No way to lock the power button. I finally gave up and got a different machine. Why 3 stars instead of 1 or 2? Because I can see how this would work OK for tiny dogs or cats. But for my use case, I need something that works much better than this. ... show more

    • Neat idea, but not perfect
I have 2 cats that love to shed all over everything in the house in the spring, so I thought that this pet grooming vacuum would be a good solution to their excessive shedding. It's easy to use, lightweight, and I like that it has a battery and is cordless. As a cat grooming tool, it works ok if your cats will tolerate the noise. Mine are still pretty skittish about it. They will let me brush them if the power is turned off, but they run away the second I turn it on. I am trying to get them used to being brushed without power so that eventually they'll tolerate me turning the unit on. Clean up is easy after brushing- just retract the pins of the brush, turn the unit on, and sweep any stuck hair toward the vacuum with a finger. The vacuum tool is a little less useful. The power isn't enough to pick up hair effectively from my furniture- especially if it's caught in the fibers. I find a sticky roller is much better for this application. It's decent for a quick hair removal from clothing, but that's about it. This can be a useful tool, but manage your expectations as to what it's capable of. It doesn't have the power of a vacuum, but it is useful for quick touch ups. ... show more

    • Weak suction, awkward design
This was a nice idea but it didn’t live up to my expectations. I have a short haired dog that sheds a lot and the hairs get embedded in the walls of our couch that he rubs up against. I thought there would be some special hair sucking/gathering ability that my regular vacuum didn’t have, but it is just a basic sucking vacuum with bristles on the end. Unfortunately, the suction was much weaker than my regular vacuum and didn’t hardly pick anything up. Trying to use this as a suction brush was very awkward because of how long the unit is. I could see this potentially being useful to suck up hair as you are shaving your pet (I can’t speak to how well the clippers work), but it just isn’t the right item for our needs. ... show more

    • Not as good as I had hoped
I pictured this being able to 'cut' and suck my dog's hair at the same time as the Flowby back in the day. I could tell it was getting some of my dog's loose hair but of course, my dogs aren't used to it yet. I will continue to try this a little at a time to get them used to it.
