I like Paul Mitchell's products in general I use them because they are excellent and cruelty-free this Pomade was greasy and gooey and it was not a good substitute for the go Vani Pomade I usually use which is out of stock everywhere I returned it

    • I really like the M products from Paul Mitchell
OK - I'm a little picky when it comes to my hair so I've got several half empty hair product under my counter because I didn't like the way they worked or some other little quirk about them. I heard about the "M" (Mitch) from Paul Mitchell and figured I'd give it a try. I don't like a pomade that is too slick and I don't want it to dry out and make my hair look crunchy. I was really surprised when I opened this up and saw that it was different from most of the hair products on the market. It is like a clear blue gel and reminds me of the texture of jello that hasn't set completely. There is not a strong smell to it but it smell like it is for a man (not perfume smell like some other that rime with haxe). It goes in wet hair really well and you can work it all the way through to the tips. My hair is really long on top and buzzed down on the sides and 90% of the time it is pulled back or in a man bun. If you have a meeting and want to take your hair down you can just wet your hands and run them through your hair and you are good to go. This has been a life saver for unexpected after work events or when clients are in town that you didn't expect. I really like this - I also tried the shampoo - so I hope this helps you make an informed decision about the product. ... show more

I like most Mitch and Paul Mitchell products, but this one was not a winner for me. I found that it had very minimal hold, almost like putting a leave-in conditioner or lotion in my hair. It yields a very high shine but I also feel that it's sort of greasy looking. It doesn't emulsify easily and I'm always left with a lot of residue on my hands. Love this line of products from Paul Mitchell it’s what my hair salon uses on me when I get my haircut. Nice medium hold with a little shine to your hair. Best if applied to semi dry hair

Great product. Strong hold without being crispy. Very little goes a long way. I transferred some into a 1oz container and it lasted me through two weeks in Italy.
