The size is perfect for my small deck and I LOVE the color. I am a 36 year old girl on my own, and I was able to put it together myself. I would definitely recommend putting together the storage box and the table first, so you get comfortable with how it all fits. That made the more difficult part of the couches a lot easier. It took me a few hours over 2 days to do. If you have help you could knock it out fairly quickly. Also, it is shipped in two boxes. I freaked out when I was going through the first box and realized not all the pieces were there and contacted the seller. They got back to me in less than 24 hours and let me know the second box was on its way too- it arrived later that day! (They followed up TWICE afterwards to ensure it arrived, great service!) ... show more

    • Assembly is a nightmare...

Ultimately, this is a fairly nice patio set. But getting it together is an absolute nightmare. None of the pieces are labeled , and the instructions are incredibly unclear (and in some cases, printed incorrectly). Once it's put together, it looks decent, but the pillows are rather flat and not entirely comfortable. And the rattan smells very chemically. I do like the storage unit though, which is the main reason I selected this set. I'll update after we've used it more. UPDATE: We used this extensively at our 4th of July BBQ. The Patio set is very nice seems to be well constructed and is comfortable HOWEVER assembly was an absolute nightmare.! There were exactly two piece identification labels left on the unit upon opening the box. A couple hour assembly turned out to be an all day affair of trial and error was tempted to throw it all back in the box and return it. ... show more

    • time consuming but not difficult to put together

This took me two afternoons to put it together - actually for my 10 year old granddaughter to put together [great STEM project]. together we read the plans and I navigated, she bolted everything together, I then tightened. My husband loves the set but it is definitely too short so I'm building a 4" base to raise both sofas. I had noticed some comments that the storage is not rain proof. Not sure if those comments resulted in the zippered liner that is now included. The liner is well made but is a little too small in the perimeter dimensions so it does not attach to the Velcro on all sides. But the liner does hold the 4 bottom cushions and 2 of the back cushions. I put the other two cushions under the coffee table for quick storage but come winter I'll store them in another box I have. The only other concern is I have no delusion about how fast the metal will rust in this unit. I live in Colorado so not too much worry, but not sure how long it would hold up in a place like Florida. I just figure I'll spray Rustoleum on the metal once a year. Bottom line - to get something I wanted (with storage) that was better quality the price would have doubled at least.     • It’s ok not great
The furniture is comfortable, sturdy and looks nice. It is not water resistant, I’ll have to spray it with scotch brite. The instructions are not easy to follow, and the furniture is not labeled well for assembly. Like put A to B the attach C, it would be nice to have the pieces labeled. The color is more black than brown and the air lifts on the storage box didn’t fit without me moving the hole location. Overall it’s a decent price and quality. Customer service was quick to respond to my issues. Update: the color fades quickly, so be careful not to leave out in the sun. The set I purchased is less than 6 months old, went from green to a light tan with only a few hours a day of morning sun. ... show more

I absolutely love this set, It is perfect for my patio the only thing was assembling was a nightmare but after that it’s so worth it and it’s surprisingly very comfortable, best money spent! I was a bit skeptical about the quality and sturdiness but it’s really good!

Exceptionally pleased so far. Had this set for just over a week now. Color of fabrics is true and seems to be quality so far. As others have posted, assembly required -- to say it was a challenge is vastly understated! Diagrams are fairly clear is showing what piece attaches to what; but, not particularly clear which side is up or facing out. Bolts and washers are not especially marked and in many places in the diagrams it became clear that where the diagram says use bolt "t" it actually meant "r". HINT: the only place to use the shortest bolt is on the bottom - save them for last! When the diagram say use the middle length bolts, but they do not seem to be long enough, dont try to force it - use the long bolt (there will be enough- they are not used that often.) Another hint - use your own tools. The crap supplied will double your assembly time. The seating seems to support two people on each bench and so far are not saggy despite lack of observable support underneath. I must say I love the set so far and it is comfortable. I cannot speak to the longevity as we have only had them in place a week. But we use them every evening. I will update again over time. This was a good buy - but plan about 4 to 6 hours to assemble (using actual tools, not the crap wrench cut outs supplied) ... show more

    • Great set but "some assembly required"
I recently enclosed and screened in our covered patio. The new space needed a nice sitting arrangement. This set fits the bill perfectly. It was an excellent value compared to the pre-assembled sets available at local stores. The only reason it didn't earn 5 stars is the extensive assembly required and the fact that most of the panels had no marking to match up with the instructions. I'm pretty familiar with assembling purchases after helping raise 6 kids and moving nine times. The assembly of these pieces took about 6 hours using a ratcheting screwdriver and a socket wrench (Not the tools the manufacturer provided. Assembly would have taken much longer with them.). It was worth it though. I recommend this set and would buy it again. ... show more
