Installed this around a queen adjustable base and mattress I already had set up. Took me a few hours alone but well worth it. Love the height and the quality truly is great. I think it's a little darker than in the pictures, more a true gray, not light the light gray I see on my computer screen, but still went well with my mirrored furniture. This bed is gorgeous and exactly what i was looking for. Comes in a large box (140lbs) as an FYI. Had to open the box up and carry it up the stairs piece by piece. It was packaged very well and even though the outside of the box had a dent, the bed wasn't damaged at all. I put this thing together on my own within 2 hours. It was a little hard to get it all together without help but possible. It is nice and sturdy and fits my new 14 inch mattress PERFECTLY. This looks like a much more expensive bed. I've shopped around a LOT and glad I decided to take a shot ordering this one. If you are on the fence about it, just do it! You will not be disapointed. ... show more

Absolutely beautiful and well made. Took long to assemble it by myself and had a little struggle aligning some of the holes but it worked out everything looks good and put together. The only thing is that it still has a like a chemical smell that I do not like, had this experience with a previous bed also bought from amazon that it got less strong but I don’t think it ever went away completely so I don’t know. Still waiting for my new mattress but overall I’m happy with my bed! ... show more

This is a beautiful bed. It's just as described. It took my husband and I about an hour to assemble it. Having a helping hand will make the process faster. Instructions were easy to follow, and all the parts were marked in the plastic bags with an instruction manual that included images, etc. There was a small issue with one of the pieces, the company went above and beyond to rectify the issue immediately. I was sent 4 beds from this company. And I am on the fourth one and as I try to build it, the holes do not align while assembling. Someone put a staple on the inside of another one of the hole so I can’t put a screw inside. This bed is almost impossible to put together without having to recreate your own screw but if you do that the wood cracks and now the bed is broken. ... show more

Nice product. Had some damage upon arrival not to due to the seller (delivery box was damaged) and the seller was easy to work with and very professional and made it right. Nailheads are shiny just be aware of that. We were worried about the "velvet" material showing marks, etc but it isn't noticeable and looks nice.
