I used to get an off brand from my local store, but hey stopped carrying a benzoyl peroxide bar soap. The product is good and works well to keep breakouts at bay for my husband who has to work outside in the heat for work. I always purchase the soap bar version of this as it works better for versus the body wash. It’s also stronger too. It’s helped clear out my skin, this is only because I use it constantly. It doesn’t Dr out my skin and the price is decent.

    • No break outs
I’m trying to replace all my bottles with bars for the environment and for travel ease. I use a benzoyl peroxide product in the morning only and so switched to this. I was worried as my previous product was 5% and this is 10%, but no extra drying or irritation. Even products for break outs tend to break me out, but this did not cause a problem. Dries well and you don’t need a whole lot, so will last a long time. If you don’t know, benzoyl peroxide bleaches everything (not specific to this bar). I use in the shower and rinse well so not a problem but if you were using at the sink at night you would want to wear an old T-shirt or something rather than your daytime clothes as it will bleach them if it drips. Also my eyebrows have been lightened up since I started benzoyl peroxide (again, not just this bar) but I use a mascara-like product to bring them back when I do my makeup so no big deal. ... show more

i have used the liquid stuff for awhile now and it is good but this stuff is amazing! it makes you feel much cleaner, smell better, and the product lasts longer.

    • Doesn't last, not effective against folliculitis
This soap smells mild and leaves skin feeling extra clean without drying. I liked that a lot, but I did not find it effective at preventing folliculitis flare ups. It might perform better against acne and other skin conditions, but that's not why I bought it. As other reviews stated, it is poor value for money despite being a decent product. One bar lasts roughly three weeks, which is at least one week too short. ... show more
