  • Game Changer!
Size: Compact Color: Blue
This is the perfect iron for anyone that does quilting or other sewing projects. You can move from table to table to iron. It heats up quickly! You can easily fill the water chamber. I was worried the "charging station" would take up a lot of space on my table, but it is nicely compact. The only concern I have is that even in the "off" position, the handle is warm. I can unplug the base. I am very glad I purchased this for my sewing needs! ... show more

  • I'm 80. I've had lots of irons. This is the best I've ever used.
Size: Compact Color: Teal
First use, I wasn't sure the iron was hot enough to do the job. I was thinking of returning but then I pulled out the iron and gave it another chance. Hit the steam button a couple of times to clear it out and started ironing and it worked like a dream. Lots of heat. Lots of steam. And it was easy to put it on the base instead of on the ironing board when I moved the duvet I was ironing. Today I ironed a handkerchief linen blouse with lots of pleats and a linen runner for my table. Plenty of steam for both jobs. Iron doesn't just glide, it skates. And I decided to write a review because I'm convinced it's the best iron I could have bought. Chose this model for two reasons. First the 30 minute auto shut off, instead of 10. Auto shut off always annoyed me. With this iron, it doesn't matter so much because of how fast this iron heats up - seconds, not minutes. I also like the shiny stainless steel soleplate instead of ceramic because just about everything I iron is natural fabric - and I think ceramic is better suited for manufactured fabrics and blends. Iron is lightweight and can be put away immediately, in its little case without waiting for it to cool down. So I can iron, put away the board and I'm done. I got lucky and got this iron used, in good condition. It came quickly and was in brand new shape, including instruction book. The only thing missing was the original box. Great price. Great iron. There's alot to like about my new Panasonic iron. ... show more

  • This is an improved version of my Panasonic cordless iron
Size: Compact Color: Teal
I have really liked my previous Panasonic cordless iron, which is still working fine after quite a few years of use. I bought this new one because of a new feature: the major improvement in my view of this iron is having a 30 minute shut-off time. Previously I had to very frequently stop what I'm sewing, go to the ironing board, and use the iron for a moment in order to keep it hot. I tried to think of this as "good exercise", but now I can keep sewing much longer without that annoyance. This iron has also double pointy ends, so it must be returned to the heating cradle. That's taken a smidge of getting used to, but the feature is useful. It re-heats quickly so ironing clothing works well with a little patience, as it will re-heat while you re re-positioning a shirt, for instance. I am a quilter and mainly use the iron for ironing pieced fabrics. If I am ironing a lot of yardage of fabric I plug in my corded iron for continuous heat. Another feature I like is that you can refill the water while the iron is heating, as the water well detaches very easily and can be taken to the tap to fill it up. It lasts a long time. Steam is even and nice, and the heat settings seem perfect. I like the way it looks too. I highly recommend this iron if you want to be free of that dangling cord. It's great. ... show more

  • No cord! Yay!
Size: Compact Color: Blue
I like this iron mainly because there is no electrical cord getting in the way while ironing. The 4-star rating instead of 5 is because if you're ironing big pieces of fabric that take a while to iron, the iron requires some reheating time in the cradle after a while. Not a huge nuisance, but with most corded irons, you can keep on ironing while the iron reheats. ... show more

  • Perfect. Steams great. Water reservoir is detachable
Size: Compact Color: Teal
My Mom bought this for her quilting trip as it's very portable. She says it works a lot better than the older Panasonic cordless iron that it replaced. She says the water reservoir is detachable. She says it steams much better than the last one and she likes how both ends are pointed. The downfall of both ends being pointed is you can't set it down on the end, but need to put it on the base if you need to set it down. All in all she loves it and would highly recommend it. She says the teal color is absolutely beautiful ... show more

  • Disappointing Iron - Would not purchase
Size: Compact Color: Blue
I purchased this iron late June and didn't start using until September. Was exited to get this iron as it had very high reviews. However, it has been a big disappointment. The cost of the iron certainly is not justified. The iron does not heat up very well - even at the highest setting. Also, the heat in the iron doesn't last long. I don't think I'd be able to iron a twin size quilt without having to stop in the middle and let the iron heat up. When I put water in the reservoir it has a slight leak, but it doesn't leak once it's back in place. Best think about the iron - no cord to chase. ... show more

  • Easy portable pull cord iron!
Size: Compact Color: Teal
I set the base down and I pick up the iron and I take it wherever I want to go and then I put it back on the base, how convenient is that. Saves me room so when I unplug it, I don't have to do anything but just pull and it sucks it right in.. it's lightweight, and it's easy to work and understand.
