I'm very pleased with this patio set: it's very sturdy, elegant, and assembly was easy. It was well-packaged and included all the necessary hardware (one type of screw, washers, Allen wrench). Before anything else I say, this is the most important: DO NOT FULLY TIGHTEN BOLTS ON EACH CHAIR BEFORE YOU HAVE THEM ALL IN AND ONLY GIVEN A COUPLE TURNS. That is VERY important. You will need the wiggle room to fully match up all the holes properly. I am fully convinced that those complaining about holes not matching up did not leave all the bolts loose enough at first. Now with that being said, I absolutely love this set. Yes it's cheap. You're going to get what you paid for. I had the choice of spending $800 on a set that looked very similar at a local store. Although I know it was built a little better, I wasn't going to spend that much. This set is an excellent value for the slightly less in quality, but it still seems like I should get a few years use out of it. The supports for the seat are what I was most disappointed in, being they are only a few twisted ropes of the same stuff the plastic wicker seems to be made of, with the woven plastic wicker on top. It seems strong enough, says will hold 350 pounds, so we'll see. It arrived in 2 boxes, at the same time. My son put them together with an occasional extra hand by me, but could easily be assembled by one person. It took about half an hour for all 3 items. The cushions do seem a little "slippery" but I think a couple squares of velcro underneath will take care of that. I also plan to buy covers for the chairs to protect from the sun and weather. It's very comfortable, perfect size for my patio. We've had it less than a day, assembling it as soon as it arrived late this afternoon. If there's a change in my opinion due to problems, I'll definitely update. ... show more

I received this furniture set about a week ago in two boxes. One of them was partially busted open along one side, and that immediately gave me concern about potentially missing or damaged pieces. Thankfully, everything arrived fine. Here are my findings after having used the set for a few days sitting out on the patio and enjoying the limited sunshine we have had in California. PROS - Very well-packaged. Even survived some rough handling by FedEx - Fairly inexpensive - Easy installation/assembly: all screws are the same size so I did not have to check which one went to which hole - Wrench was included, and so no additional tools were required - Very straight-forward, easy to follow instructions - No lingering smell after a few hours - VERY comfortable cushions - Material seems well made - All parts were labeled with letters that corresponded with the ones in the instructions (making part identification easy) CONS - The included wrench made my fingers VERY sore after tightening all the screws. I suggest you use your own, proper tool instead - There was an initial, strong smell after unpacking the parts, but went away after a few hours of airing out - Am not a fan of the "PamaPic" logo plate at the front of the furniture pieces as it stands out a lot. Thankfully, it was easy to break the logo plate for removal. I believe it would be much better to have the logo placed ONLY at the BACK of the furniture instead so it is less intrusive Overall, this set of furniture looks great in our backyard and lends a very relaxing, luxurious feel to the patio without the high prices we found in retail stores. ... show more

We started off shaky because AMAZON sent one of the boxes that had been open with half of the pieces removed--shame on them. HOWEVER, even over a holiday weekend I was able to contact Pamapic customer service through the email address on the booklet and THEY sent me a replacement box -- I did not relish trying to get those pieces back in the box and then to the ups store to do a return through amazon. I'm glad we weren't having an event that needed the furniture but that is Amazon's fault, not the company. As soon as they had stock of the box that needed replaced, we received it THE NEXT DAY. We had it together with no trouble (I was just more of a second set of hands) and it was out on the patio! They look nice with our brick, are sturdy and I love how the ottomans slide underneath when not being used to save valuable space. I wanted to use them a bit before a review. ... show more

Easy enough to put together but would not fully tighten until you have all the screws in and than get them in good. I used a drill to make sure they were god and tight. This is a pretty nice set, with a couple of caveats. Instructions to put it together are clear and easy to follow. I don't recommend putting it together using the allen wrench tool they supplied, it would take hours and be very tiring. I used a drill with an allen wrench bit. That worked great! A couple of the holes don't line up well, but with some jiggling and maneuvering I was able to make all but one work. One just wouldn't screw in completely, so I just left it ... the chair was stable and seemed solid even like that, so that's how it stays. The table top is soft and unsupported, and putting a glass or anything the least bit unstable on it would result in the item falling over. I solved this by purchasing an acrylic sheet 18"x18" to go over the top ... at an additional $35.00. But I expect that to completely resolve that issue. All in all, it's a good, solid set, with just a couple of small issues, both easy to resolve, but at additional cost to me. ... show more
