    • Total time, money and back saver!
First things first. I’ve never operated a paint sprayer. That being said, its not rocket science but there is definitely a learning curve and a technique to master. We had three darkly painted rooms that needed to be covered and the thought of hand painting 2-3 coats to cover was enough to just say “nope.” Instead we read the reviews and settled on this sprayer. It wasn’t the cheapest nor the most expensive but it got decent reviews. Out of the box it was super easy to assemble. The most onerous part was timing the paint thickness before spraying. But once we found the right consistency, it was smooth sailing. First time out of the box, we encountered overspray- easy enough to fix. Within a short amount of time we adjusted the nozzle and didn’t have too much trouble with overspray again. When we encountered it, we just dealt with it by brushing the overspray, letting it dry and moved along with another coat. That inelegant technique didn’t seem to impact the final finish. The unit was sturdy and powerful enough for our needs, and it was not cumbersome at all with the attached compressor and hose. The idea of a cordless was tantalizing, but waiting to recharge a unit wasn’t. So, get the compressor model. Hose was long enough to work a 10x12 room without too much jockeying. Cleanup is a chore, but we drew a hot soapy sink, let the parts soak a bit and then took it bit by bit. Easy to disassemble and easy to reassemble. Machine comes with everything you need to clean out spray holes, etc. We used latex which was less involved as far as cleanup. The results are awesome, dark paint covered in one good spray and a second targeted spray; and it saved us hundreds of dollars in hiring someone to do the same thing. Plus, before the product even shipped their customer service reached out with a direct contact for us to use were we to run into an issue. All in all, I recommend the product even for a total rookie. Love this electric air gun tried it on a windy day took me longer to mask the door then to paint the whole wall had to refill the container 1once to finish this wall really amazing product love it

shoots latex better than my old electric gun and holds more paint in the jar for longer spraying. Would like a short hose option included too.....not sure where to buy replacement pieces, like nozzles though.

    • This is the best airless sprayer I've ever used
I've owned several of them and have also used a number of normal compressor-fed spray guns. This thing is great. Far easier to use than any airless sprayer I've ever used before. Much lighter and easier to hold up for long spray jobs, the pattern is perfect, and since it all comes apart and is plastic it can be soaked and cleaned easily. Love the 10' hose also, I can put the air unit in the middle of a normal bedroom and not have to move it to spray the entire room! ... show more

    • If you value your sanity, don't buy this
This is an absolute nightmare of a product that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. If you value your time, sanity, health, just avoid this and other similar products for any painting projects that you have. Here are the problems; 1. Very low pressure: this forces you to hold the sprayer 2-3 inches from the object that you are painting and causes many problems. It slows down the painting. Compared to a better sprayer, it will take 2-3x more time to paint the same thing. Also, due to low pressure, you have to hold the sprayer close which in turn causes paint drips. Finally, if you mistakenly touch the object while painting, you have problems to say the least. 2. The nozzle clogs and is hard to clean. Before and after each painting session, you have to do a time consuming cleaning. 3. If you have to hold the sprayer in any position other than flat and straight, it doesn't work. If you are painting something on the ground for instance, you have to 'recharge' the paint pipe every 10-15 seconds otherwise it just sprays air. 4. Sprays paint balls that are not mixed with air, when the pressure drops for any reason. 5. You have to carry and drag the air hose with you all the time. It gets very hot as well and too hot to touch after a while. If you don't carry it, then it hits fresh paint and forces you to repaint... It is a nightmare. Do yourself a favor, spend the money to buy or rent a larger, more expensive spray painter. Even for small DIY projects, it is worth it. ... show more
