This was my first time buying this brand and I am very pleased. The feel is soft yet you can feel the strength. It isn't hard on your hands. No tangling or fraying when stitching. When using all 6 strands you get a nice fill. The strands stay together nicely. If you want to use less strands, it separates nicely, if you go slowly. I wasn't sure about the color varigation within each skein as it is different than I am accustomed to but I'm adjusting. The floss has a nice, very subtle, soft satin sheen. Almost don't notice it at first but it carries the light nicely. If you need to reorder a color, I found only two of the skeins had numbers. I will reorder this product when in need. ... show more

This thread is great thread, let me make that clear first. It is strong, takes pulling on it real well, doesn't fray easily. With that said, it will twist on itself the more you thread it through materials to the point it causes knotting which can be a pain to undo if you are not paying attention to it and pull the thread tight. To avoid this, I have to release the needle every 10 stitches or so to let the thread spin back to it's proper place again, then re-thread the needle again. It is not a big deal, just sometimes I forget and it knots badly and I have to spend a few minutes untangling it. The shorter the thread length I work with the less this happens, the long thread length causes this tangling frequently. Still 5/5 thread would order again when needed. ... show more

I was a little skeptical at first because it seemed really inexpensive for a lot of embroidery thread. I had no idea how many skeins I needed for the tassels I was making. The thread is easy to work with and great quality for the price, although now I have a lot of extra red thread.
