Make sure you order exactly what you need for your install, because this was way more than my truck required. I do not have onstar or rear entertainment so I paid for stuff that was not necessary. Regardless, it installed and worked properly. The steering wheel controls required no calibration which was a timesaver. It takes up a lot of space under your dash so make sure you have the extra room. The door chime sounds like crap though. Still give it 5 stars. PAC makes good stuff ... show more

    • Perfect Fit for my 2004 Tahoe w/ BOSE
Worked great in my 2004 Tahoe Z71 with the factory BOSE system. Installed using an Alpine navigation head unit and the BOSE system came alive. It is really under powdered with the stock head unit. It was kind of a pain stuffing all those boxes and wires back in the dash once I added the PAC TR-7 video bypass along with everything in this kit but I shoe horned it all in there and everything worked first try. A must have if you want to keep all the factory switches and connections for a clean and professional install. The instructions could be a little more clear about the navigation wires on the module (pink & light green) those kind of threw me off for a few minutes but after searching on Google determined those are only used if your vehicle came with a head unit that had FACTORY navigation. Everything I needed was in this kit, took about an hour including splicing wire to the new head unit. My wife absolutely loves her new Radio and sounds even better.

The product was great and kept everything I wanted from factory. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the price. Why is some wires and plastic plugs so dang expensive?

I have a 2006 Chevorlet Silverado 2500HD Duramax with factory BOSE and steering wheel controls. Everything works perfectly! Steering wheel controls and all! Even made the stock speakers sound better in my option. Installed myself and took about an hour total.

Does what it's supposed to.... I wish we'd have had harness adapters like this back when I was a teenager splicing a million stereo wires in every car I owned.

Bought this kit for my Yukon and absolutely dislike it. Overpriced, install was a pain, sound quality is alright but it looses connection with the driver front speaker all the time. I’ve installed numerous stereos in my lifetime and this unit is trash

    • 2003 Suburban worked perfectly
The Suburban has on star, Bose stereo, with steering wheel controls. Everything works exactly as it should, was really easy to install. Couldn't ask for more
