  • Very hefty airbrush
I have used a Badger dual action airbrush in the past and decided to buy this one instead. It comes with three spray attachments for very fine, fine, and not so fine. For scale plastic models I am using the middle attachments and seem to be working well. The one issue I have is the paint cup needs to be not only secured tightly (mine fell off a few times), but you have to watch the airbrush angle so you don't spill the paint out of the cup (I did this a few times too). Clean up is not so bad, and a bit easier than the Badger airbrush. I bought it for under $100, which I thought was great for the money. ... show more

  • "DON'T B SCARRRED😱😳😰!!!"
I'M JUST GETTING INTO AIRBRUSHING. AFTER RESEARCHING & UNDERSTANDING THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SINGLE & DOUBLE ACTION AIRBRUSH GUNS; I WAS EXTREMELY CAUTIOUS ABOUT GETTING THE DOUBLE ACTION. AFTER USING THIS PAASCHE DOUBLE ACTION AIRBRUSH, I CAN SAY IT'S NOT NEARLY AS COMPLICATED AS IT SOUNDS!! I AM EXTREMELY SATISFIED AND PLEASED THAT I PURCHASED THIS PAASCHE AIRBRUSH!! AS 👁️ SAID B4 "DON'T B SCARRRED😱😳😰!!!" ... show more

  • Great airbrush
This is my 5th Paasche VL airbrush and I’m very happy with it. I run a taxidermy business and have use several brands of airbrushes and I always come back to Passche val brand.

  • Best Buy for general purpose airbrush
Everything you need to get going. Not for very fine work, but will do fine for general spraying. Easy to disassemble and clean.

  • So far so good.
Ease of use. I use it for musical instrument repair. Just began to use it. We'll see how it stands up to more use.

  • Good airbrush, but some things
One day I bought a desk at a garage sale and it came with supplies. Year later I went through in detail each drawer. I found a Paasche Airbrush. Today I have several, but I am here to tell some differences. These Paasche are good for everyday models and covering big areas. History. The needles use to have a number at the back end signifying the size. The smallest was number one which is .55mm. 3 is .76mm and the large number five is 1.6mm. I never use the number five, maybe if I want to paint my cabinets or a wall. Another thing is that the one I found in the desk is the older model. This one is the never model. You can find the parts, but make sure you get the right model first then oder your parts accordingly. How to tell? Paasche never changed the version VL, but the big difference is the tip. On the old Paasche VL the tip assembly was three pieces. This newer one is only two pieces. That's how you tell. Another difference is the trigger. On the old there was a hinged pin at the bottom of the trigger. Today's newer one is shorter because Paasche increased the length of the air valve stem. I have four, three old ones and this new version. Both version are great and use these for model planes, jets, cars and tanks. If you want to airbrush details like weathering, etc. then find an airbrush with a size .2mm needle. But this Paasche Airbrush (and older model) are good for covering a model it's color. ... show more
