If you can piece together directions based on imagery, then you will have no issues assembling. The quality is as expected for the price, but I expect it to hold up for a few years. I bought this bunk bed for my girls' small room. They are 5 and 2. I love the low profile of this bed. It is just right for the little one to safely sleep on the bottom and the oldest to not be afraid to sleep up top. I love the stair aspect as well. It makes it so easy for them to get up and down. The only thing I didnt like about this bed was how difficult it was to put together. Granted, I am a single mom and did it alone. You will need two people. Also, I found that the boards that support the mattresses were not all long enough. This was ok on the bottom bunk, but the top bunk was an issue. bought this for my granddaughters bedroom…they love it. I like how it’s a lot lower than a regular bunk bed so if for some reason they fall it will be a lot less chance of them getting hurt. I also live it having steps over a ladder. It’s very sturdy was pretty easy to put together.

The media could not be loaded. 5yo boy and 2yo girl loves the bunkbeds. Its not too high, steps are only issue as i can foresee it being slippery because of the type of material but will be buying non slip clear tape for the steps. Took me 2 hours to put together by myself.

This is perfect for our twin boys room. They are 2 years old and out grew their mini cribs very quickly. We decided to give them the space they like, since they like to try to sleep in our bed. They sleep a lot better and can easily toss and turn without bumping. My boys love using the steps. Make sure to read the mattress requirement (6”); we ordered the ones that Amazon suggested and they are a little smaller (about 2”) but if you put a pool noodle in the space it’ll be fine. Definitely a 2 person job it took us 3 1/2 hours to get it all set up, make their beds & clean their room. ... show more

    • Smells and isn’t sanded properly

The product seems stable enough to work though it’s a little wobbly in my opinion. It’s worse offense is the wood is not properly sanded so our kids are at risk of getting splinters. Also they clearly spray painted it as the stench is super strong and toxic. I’m hoping the smell wears off. We have a project ahead of us to re-sand and possibly Re-paint this thing.
