This divider suction bowl is such a HUGE GAME CHANGER!!! Ever since the little one turned 1, she went from eating anything and everything to being super picky and throwing most of her food on the floor. I started getting worried about her nutrient intake and spent all day making different kinds of foods hoping that she would like SOMETHING, anything. It was exhausting. I had been looking for a good plate and bowl that actually suctions to the tray no matter how hard she tried to pull and flip it. Finally I stumbled upon the OXO Tot brand and not only have the bowls and plate held up well to her attempts of throwing it, but she’s been happily eating pretty much everything that’s in them. Many times when tots toss their food it isn’t because they don’t like the food or are full, it’s usually because they’re overwhelmed. Putting the food in the bowl or the little divided plate provides a little more structure to mealtime and not only is she cleaning off the plate, but she can’t toss it when she’s done AND she finishes her entire cup of milk now too! (She previously threw that on the ground too) (I did NOT receive this item as part of a promotion and I paid full price for this item!!! This is my real honest review! lol) ... show more

This product blew my expectations out the water. The other reviews made me a little hesitant to buy it in case I got a defective one. But we love this bowl! Seriously, once you set it down, it will NOT come up and that stumped my 16 month old. For those who say its suction makes it hard to lift, try unscrewing the bowl from its base and then lifting the silicone base up. Super easy, everytime. I also love how deep the bowl is, we can put a good amount of oatmeal or cereal in it and our toddler has enough room up the sides to scoop it onto her spoon. ... show more

Well.. I was looking for a simple suction bowl and I use OXO brand a lot so I bought this bowl. What can I say.. The suction part work really great. It's even hard for me to remove it. You can also detached it and have regular bowl. But all in all I do not like it. Seems it will be hard to clean.

Not only is this a great product, but I have to say I am impressed with the customer service. They quickly sent me a new bowl after I accidentally broke the suction bottom of the first one (my fault for twisting too hard and in the wrong direction). It’s easy to clean, dishwasher safe, perfect size, and my little guy wasn’t able to pry it off the tray until about 11 or 12 months. It does have marks on it from where he was scraping it with his teeth and spoon but is otherwise in good condition still. Very happy with this choice of first bowl. We have the matching spoons, sippy cups, and plate, and are equally happy with those. Will probably continue buying tot stuff from this brand. ... show more

I bought this and the munchkin brand set of 3 suction bowls. I usually like munchkin for their afffordable and overall good quality but then I scared for something like this (i mean with suction and thing) then maybe you get what you pay for. Hence the reason I chose this thinking it is more expensive with a lot of good reviews, especially very high star rating on the part for "Suction Power" comparing to many other similar products. I tested try both this and the bowl from Munchkin. I, my 5 years old daughter, my 9 months old son all can take this one off with a lil' power by holding at the bowl, yes the side of the bowl, not even the base. And none of us could move the Munchkin bowl. I didnt clean any of them so I don't know how well it clean but well, if it can't stick, it can't stay!!! ... show more

    • Poor design, twist off bowl which causes bottom suction to come up

I got this for a puppy to stick to the hard ground in his play pen so he couldn’t knock it over when jumping around. All I’m saying is if a puppy with no thumbs can move this, I’m sure a human infant can easily remove it. The suction is weak and the design is set up so you have to screw/turn the bowl on and off of the suction grip, which causes the suction grip bottom to pull up off the surface if you ever so slightly pull it up before it’s 100% twisted off.
