The tool is simple and very easy to use. It was easy to take apart to clean and put back together. I wish I would have bought one sooner. It was definitely worth the money. If you have small children, this thing will save so much time just cutting grapes for you. It is compact and doesn't take up hardly any room. I am a cheapo and have put off buying this because it is spendy, but I got it on a sale day and I don't regret it! My daughter loves grape tomatoes, olives, grapes, cherries, anything that is small and round. This thing cuts them without any problem and makes my life so much simpler in food prep.     • No more quartering by hand!

I bought this for my toddler classroom because the kitchen always brings me grapes without cutting them up first. And I know that's extra work for the kitchen but I'm not a real big fan of having to put together sandwiches AND quarter grapes while singing wheels on the bus to five screaming 18-month olds who want their lunch (because apparently me singing is acceptable to them but playing songs on the speaker is not). Even though you can only do one grape at a time its still much faster than doing it by hand! It also works good on cherry tomatoes but I found it didn't work so well on blueberries but that might have been because I shoved a whole bunch in there. I also used it to make cheese cubes smaller and while it did work it was a GIANT pain in the butt to clean cheese out of there, do not reccomend. The cutting blade is on the inside and it is serrated. Not razor sharp but I still managed to slice my finger open trying to clean out the cheese. If your kid grabs it they'd have to like, stick their finger inside and press pretty hard to actually cut themselves. My one con is that the cover/lid fits kinda loose and slides off. So glad I bought this, its great for the classroom and I will be thankful to have it the next time the kitchen thinks its a great idea to serve grapes and cherry tomatoes on the same day. TLDR: use as intended for grapes and cherry tomatoes, don't use for cheese. ... show more

Bought this as I take care of my 1 year old grandson a few days a week, and he LOVES fruit....especially grapes! For safety's sake, I always cut them, but when I saw this, I thought I'd try it. It's amazingly sharp, and super easy to use!!! It also comes with a safety cap so you can take it with you if you'd like without the risk of slicing your fingers! Great buy! After literal years of slicing grapes, I bought this as per a friend's recommendation. I seriously don't know what I did before it. My younger child eats grapes like they're going out of style and it saves me so much time. I do wish it was a little easier to clean, but you can't win them all.

I really like this item and I use it every single day, but I will say it is very difficult to clean and even if you do get it clean the plastic stains. I use it for all the berries in our house, and the blueberry specifically have stained it and food gets trapped into little crevices that you can’t really clean with the regular dish cleaning tools you’ll have to get like a toothbrush or some thing but overall I love this product. Best tool! It makes making school breakfast/lunches and meal prepping a breeze and cuts down on prep time. It’s a little tricky to clean with its small groves on the inner side where the blades are. I use a toothpick to clean out those hard to clean areas.
