  • Great for holding Detergent and Vinegar
Style: Brush
I watched some social media videos that said that a certain grease cutting dish soap that people are familiar with, mixed with vinegar makes a phenomenal cleaner. I have a fiberglass shower surround that has the little indentions in the floor to supposedly keep you from slipping. And as most people know, soap scum gets in those little inventions and you just about, can’t get it out. I have used every chemical and every kind of scrubber and nothing works. The last thing to try was this literal dish and pot scrubber with the long bristles. I filled it with a 50-50 mix of grease cutting dish soap and vinegar. I wet the shower and then squeezed the little button to spray on the solution and started scrubbing. It did better than any other scrubber I’ve ever used, but it wasn’t perfect. And seriously I doubt you’re supposed to really scrub fiberglass like that because I’m sure I’m removing some sort of sealant on the fiberglass. But at least the floor of my shower looks way better than it ever has. I also use it on my bathroom ceramic sink and it’s great for scrubbing around the faucet and drain. Works really well. The liquid inside, no matter what you put in it, lasts you a good long time. I’m pretty happy with it. ... show more

  • Long Time User....
Style: Brush
I've been using the OXO brush forever. I think since it came out. I've tried all it's variations, the sponge head, even the small palm size one that also holds soap. I have a family of 5 and cook daily and use it just about exclusively. I do have a dishwasher that I use daily as well but often we make so many dishes in a day I hand wash a good amount too and there are always those items I won't put in the dishwasher (knives, etc). What I want to say is don't buy this with the idea that you won't have to replace it every several months. No matter what the variation that has always been the case for me. I purchased this in Jan (2024), it started leaking a bit and not squirting as well in May 2024 and I just had to reorder a new one. For me, I love that it's dish soap dispensing. I definitely like the brush head better than the sponge type heads. But it's going to cost me $20-$30 a year. You may be like me and generally like OXO products. I find they are well designed and many of their products last for a considerable time (like a potato peeler, measuring cup, broom), and this is definitely a work horse, but is not a one time purchase. Your mileage may vary. Just my two cents :). ... show more

  • Love this kitchen tool
Style: Brush
It is so wonderful to be able to clean tough items without using just your hand! It holds dish detergent or cleaning liquid of your choice and you just scrub away the dirty dishes or items of your choice! Works awesome.

  • Good Purchase
Style: Brush
The soap dispensing brush has good bristles and works great. I have used it daily for a couple of months, and it still looks brand new. I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because it dispenses a little too much soap at a time. However, other than that, it is a good purchase.

  • Has flaws but still the best brush on the market. Professional cleaner and maid service owner here.
Style: Brush
I dislike the location of the button (that dispenses the soap). I LOVE the durability of the bristles. I own a cleaning service. We use this brush daily for scrubbing grouts, shower tiles, sinks etc. Bristles last for years without getting matted, unlike other cheaper brushes I tried. This is the no1 reason why I keep buying them and paying more. I recommend this brush. ... show more

  • Uses too much soap, and leaks when not in use
Style: Brush
OXO is still my favorite dispensing dish brush, but I'm going back to the original model. The new model's screw end leaks a lot of the detergent if I leave to rest with the brush up. And I prefer to leave it brush-up so the brush dries and airs between uses. I've tried three of these new-model brush handles in the hope the first was just faulty but they were all leaky. ... show more

  • Hard to dispense soap and bristles get fmat
Style: Brush
I use this brush for washing dishes and the quality is good but I noticed right away that it’s hard for my finger to reach over and get the right angle to push the button to dispense the soap. I have to stop and push real hard it’s very annoying and inconvenient. Also the bristles have almost completely flattened. Iam in the market for another one ... show more

  • Much Improved
Style: Brush
This brush is a vast improvement over the original. You can fill it without spilling soap all over and it does a good job scrubbing dishes and pots. It has a comfortable grip. We really like OXO kitchen tools.
