Short tongs work but nice to keep your hands away from the hot charcoal. I liked the longer length and great quality. It locks closed when storing between use. I wash after use and place it inside the BBQ with a Heat glove for next time.

I like anything from OXO. I disliked my old skewers because you either could not clean them, or the finish came off. In my first time using them, the OXO ones cleaned up great. Hopefully that will continue. I like the wide handles and they are easy to stack. Only complaint is I wish they were longer, but you can’t have everything!
