Works great on carpets. Best carpet cleaner I have ever used. On my sixth bottle now. I hired a “professional” carpet cleaner. He said my carpet was too old to get clean (after he was done). No foamy, soapy residue. The traffic areas were pretty bad. This cleaner did a pretty good job of lightening up the areas.
