Idea Collective Notebook features a cue column to identify key points, traditional note-taking area and page summary to identify and summarize the main points on each sheet. I'm an HR Manager and attend a ton of meetings daily. I purchased this nearly a year ago and its been great. There is so much space to keep all my notes and follow-up tasks. I just purchased my second one and set up subscribe and save :-). I can see this working excellent for college students as well. The price is good for the product. I like that the pages are perforated, but I also have trouble with the pages being torn. The cover got beat up looking, so it wouldve been nice if the cover was a harder plastic. ... show more

Love the focus system. There really is no better way to take hand-written notes. Book has two covers and is extra durable.

I am a very visual person and remember most by writing. This notebook help me keeps things organized and allows me to continue to make important comments on larger subjects that I write down. I wish the pages were a bit thicker as I feel sometimes you can see the pen through it. I don't write much in pencils and I use highlighters a lot. Otherwise it's a very minor problem! ... show more

    • Not bad. Pricey, but somehow the most affordable one.
I don't love the paper; if I use fountain pen, it bleeds too much, and if I use a pencil, the lead seems to show up too light unless I really put some muscle into it, which is never the goal when using a pencil. It's a big value add that the pages are double-sided. But at the end of the day, I don't know if the Cornel (style) layout being printed on plain paper is really worth this big a price jump over a simple college rule notebook on which one could draw the same layout. It's all right, but I'm not convinced I'll re-up when I exhaust this one. ... show more

I love these. I am in law school, and I use these for taking all of my notes. I am ADHD, and these are great for organizing my thoughts. The pages turn easily. The spiral is sturdy and does not get in the way. The perforations tear cleanly without much effort. The added hole punch is great for organizing my notes in a binder.
