I love composition notebooks for nostalgic reasons, and also because I am left-handed and prefer notebooks with sewn bindings over spiral bindings. This 6 pack is good/fine. I would have given these 5 stars if they had a harder cover and/or thicker pages. The covers are quite soft and flexible but I think that's standard with composition notebooks these days. They are not made the same way anymore. I haven't seen the old-school hardcover composition notebooks in stores for many years now. I wasn't expecting the old-school hardcover from these, but the pages are quite thin and at $11 per 6 pack, this costs more than composition notebooks at the dollar store, but the quality is the same. I'm still giving these notebooks 4 stars because the value is fair and it is very convenient to buy these on Amazon. ... show more
