This is the only hay I will buy for my guinea pigs. It’s the most bang for your buck. I have noticed there is not as much dust in this really at all and also it’s full on good hay. My guinea pigs love it. I’m convinced it must taste better than other hay. It also smells fresh: the bag is very durable and I like to use the bag when it’s empty, the only down side is that it’s hard to pull apart without getting hay splinters . Ordinarily the Oxbow hay is great. It’s pretty green and “fresh” but this last bag is gnarly and our rabbits won’t even eat it. It is yellow and dry - I may as well have slummed it with a bag of Kaytee for a fraction of the price. We buy our bunnies good hay and this was terrible. I hate to write a bad review when it’s usually fine but I’m doing it to warn about buying this stuff on Amazon. Love the ease of having this hay delivered at my home for my daughter's guinea pigs. I didn't like that the package was left in the road next to my mailbox when my delivery instructions are to place by front door. The box was out where anyone could have hit it!

We love this Timothy hay! This is our second package from this company and it has been a good source of variation for our hamster. We didn’t realize how big bag was, so it is a great value and will likely last us for a very long time. Highly recommend for any of your small furry friends.

I really like oxbow hay however I have figured out that anything higher than 40oz or their western Timothy hay tends to be not great quality. Tends to be dried out, brown, limp, just not good quality. Makes me not want to give it to my bunnies. I will try it again but not from a big bag.
