  • Amazing for sick kitten!
Flavor Name: Carnivore Size: 2.47 Ounce (Pack of 1)
My darling kitten was diagnosed with wet FIP-- an incurable and fatal condition that should have killed her over a month ago. Instead of dying, she's come back to life. She's hilarious, energetic, sassy, and affectionate. In the past two weeks, she went from glassy-eyed and vacant to bright and alive. She's eating, drinking, voiding normally, and is still completely herself. This is not the only product I'm using to try to save her from this hideous disease. But I credit this with resurrecting her appetite. She has always been picky, and now even more so since she became ill. But this stuff? It smells like dead things. And she absolutely loves it. I mix it with another high-calorie supplement, some of her high-quality wet food, ionic silver, and a powdered vitamin/probiotic formulated for kitties. And because she loves this stuff so much, it's getting her to eat all of this other stuff that I was previously having to force-feed her. Now she's motivated to eat and is even eating her hard food in addition to this smelly nutrient sludge that I create. (I'm also giving her turmeric in fish oil as well as CBD oil, but I give those separately.) So no, this isn't the only product that is extending her life. But it makes her so excited to eat, to the point of running around in a frenzy when I go to mix the stuff. It is highly nutritious. It's one of TWO high-calorie supplements I could find that didn't have corn syrup/malt syrup listed as the first two ingredients. (Seriously?!?) And it's helping me to save her, or at the very least to provide her with a high quality of life way beyond when she was supposed to live. Giving a sick animal (or person) high-quality nutrition and the motivation to eat is the greatest gift you can give and is the best chance at health. I'm delighted that I found this stuff. ... show more

  • Awesome for sick animals
Flavor Name: Carnivore Size: 2.47 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I use this for my ferrets, dogs and cat when they are sick and will not eat. My vet Recommend it. It is a bit pricey. But it works. When ferret is sick use a syringe feeder. I mix the powder with water. Mix it like you were making pan cake batter. Motto thick not to thin. It’s easy to mix and get lumps out of it. You must keep the powder in the refrigerator after you have open it. I usually make up 1 to 2 ounces at a time. What you don’t use Seal it up in a bowl and put in the refrigerate. When ready to use it again set it out so you can get it to just about room temperature. They don’t like ice cold food. I give my ferret 1 to 3mls a feeding just depends how many times a day you give it to your furry baby. If I do it every few hours then 1 to 2 mls . If you do it 3 to 4 hour give 2 to 3 mls. But is best to ask your vet for your ferret. At first my ferrets did not like it. I let them try it out when they were not sick to get used to it. That way it’s less of a fight when they are sick. Some of my ferrets love it a few hate it. But when they are sick. They need the protine to keep up their Strength. A ferret can go down hill real fast if they don’t eat. You can buy it in many different sizes and will last a long long time in the refrigerator. Best to always have on hand. Do to you can’t get it at a snap of a finger. ... show more

  • Pricey but worth it
Flavor Name: Carnivore Size: 11.9 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Our little female ferret dropped weight and was getting too skinny. She would eat but not a lot. Come to find out she has hypoglycemia so she was put on meds, diet change, and we started getting her to eat this. She is very picky so the food change is rough but she took to this pretty fast. Within a week we were able to visibly see she had put on little weight. We feed her roughly 2 tablespoons once in the morning and once in the evening. We leave food in the cage if she wants to eat that also. This is a little pricey but well worth the money. Will continue to purchase as needed. ... show more

  • Literal Life Saver
Flavor Name: Carnivore Size: 11.9 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Sid the Ferret was recently diagnosed with DIM. We're in it for the long haul due to the nature of DIM nature. He lost some weight when we starting getting sick, but we've been able to gain half of what he lost within 10days of adding this to his homemade soupies. When we first added this to his syringe feed soupies, he did have seedy poo which suggested extra fats/protein but within 48hrs his body adjusted. It's very easily digestible. Carnivore Care has the perfect blend of nutrition and calories. Carnivore Care has made a significant difference in our sick boys health. The bags keep well, but remember to store in the fridge or freezer! Fridge gets about 7 days and freezer 3+ months. If you keep in the freezer, just remember you can't unfreeze the bag again. Just make enough for 1 day at a time. ... show more

  • Best thing for recovering animals
Flavor Name: Carnivore Size: 2.47 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I've been using this for a few years and the product is always great. I'm a hedgehog breeder and when my hedgehogs need extra care or can't eat solids this is my go to. It definitely helps with my hedgehogs that have impaired nervous systems with wobbly hedgehog syndrome, which is a lot like parkinsons. They say vitamin E helps the syptoms and slows down the progression, and while I cant speak for the progression part it seems to always help the symptoms and give them extra energy. They seem to love the flavor, although I cant imagine testing it myself since is stinks strongly of salmon when warmed up. You mix it with water and then I like to add in some kind of squash (pumpkin or butternut) baby food, the combination works wonders. They always arrive before the delivery date and are in great condition. It says to only to keep it for a week after opening, but I've had no issues of stretching it beyond that as long as its refrigerated and sealed tight. I would tread carefully with that though, lol. It does seem a bit pricey for a very small bag of powdered food, but it costs way more if you get it at the vet, which is who recommended me to this product. I uploaded a pic of our girl Snowdrop getting a feeding, she typically gets it all over her chin...we call it her "mac an cheese face". Its a very happy face 😊 ... show more
