  • These appear to be the same pads a popular brand is selling
With one pack, I was able to refurbish a motherboard and three video cards (though I did use high-end grease, not pads, for the GPU itself). In every case, temperatures were drastically better versus the stock pads. Note that these are not as rubbery as your typical 3W/mK pads that ship on OEM devices, so they're also not nearly as easy to work with. These are more like preformed thermal paste you might find on OEM heatsinks, and are probably not ideal in situations where your device will be disassembled and reassembled regularly. But for long-term applications, these are really good. Just be careful and wear gloves if possible when handling. I've also found that the flat end of a scribe tool (aka "spudger") to be extremely helpful in working with these pads. If you take your time and do things right, the high temperature capacitance is worth the extra effort. ... show more

  • I think they work well.
I'm not using these on anything as extreme as an actual CPU, so I can't really verify how well they work for anything that extreme (paste still reigns supreme for real processors) but for what little I've used this on so far it seems to work fairly well. This stuff is strangely tacky. It's almost putty-like. On the one hand it tears very easily (so try to get an application right on the first try) but on the other hand it also is a bit more suitable for some less... standard uses. For example, stuffing into a GPU over coils that whine badly. However, it doesn't actually work like real putty, so don't think you can shape it to fit something. It's just a bit sticky and tacky so more likely to remain in place if crammed in. This offers three decent thicknesses to choose from (though I wouldn't complain if the sheets themselves were larger) so you can probably find a fit for most applications.   • Quality, value and unbeatable price
I was really impressed with overall quality of the thermal pads despite during delivery they probably dropped it so hard and one of the corners on 2mm pad was gone. Anyway replaced them OWL Tree on my PNY 3070 which was struggling and heating up like a fireplace even at idle stock pads from PNY are terrible none of them were doing it's job from the beginning, I was a little hesitant since I never changed any thermal pads or disassembled the graphics card before, but after I find out that all pads are 1mm and watched couple videos I swapped pads and now card is idling at 20c which is fantastic. Before I have 50 in idle and after light gaming card was struggling and sitting in low 90c so I wasn't able to really use it before and needed to change thermal pads badly. ... show more

  • Is Excellent at cooling.
I have a GEFORCE RTX 3080 TI video card. I noticed after 2 years it was heating up when I played games. I went in and discovered that the heating pads the manufacturer had installed were falling apart. I replaced them with these pads and my cards average Temperature dropped 6 to 8 degrees from when it was new. I will recommend these pads for your video cards. ... show more

  • Repaded my Dell OEM 3080
Temp went waaaaaay down. Tested by mining raven coin, 250w sustained with 60% fan, memory temp was 98c and core was in the 50s. Remember the add 0.5mm pad on the heatsink where dell put the serial number lables on, remove the labels and put the pads in all 4 sides.
