The photo in the ad is great so didn't try to emulate it. I had been thinking of making a mat but finding and purchasing all the components would have cost me more than buying and having it shipped directly to me. So easy to set up and use. This mat isn't big. I use it in my sink. Snap the sides and it fits. Well, I make it fit. The soil is captured and the clean up is much easier. I don't have a yard. I do have a sink. 🙂

Great mat, but small work surface. Dimensions are measured when the mat is flat, so for the 18x18 usable work space is more like 14x14. Love it for small jobs, but am ordering the next larger size up for bigger jobs.

I got the XL for like $10, definitely worth the money. I was just getting my garage floor dirty with potting soil and then I saw this thing and it works great for what I need! The corners snap together to help keep the mess contained! I would definitely recommend if you are considering one!

Repotting can be a mess sometimes. The best thing about this repotting mat is it is designed for quick cleanup. The raised edges keep the soil in one place so it doesn't scatter all over the place. If you have any leftover soil on the mat when you are finished you can simply unsnap one corner of the mat and funnel the leftover soil back into the soil package. If you are using the mat to prune, you can use the unsnapped corner to guide your prunings into the garbage. Remember to recycle. ... show more
