    • Not worth the cost!
This stuff is not nearly as good as I thought it would be. I used it in the wood inside my boat and found it to be less effective than regular Old English lemon oil furniture polish.

My father was a boatbuilder, and I have been around Deks Olje since the late 1970's. This stuff is exquisite for outdoor/marine finish work. I don't build boats, but I make lot's of outdoor furniture- this works GREAT. It soaks in, and keeps soaking until the air is displaced. Keep feeding it until saturated (3+ coats), then wipe off the excess. Olje leaves a fantastic, natural looking finish that feels really nice to touch. ... show more

I am using this an part 2 on a old 5 finger teak parquet. I find it amazing. I had tried several products, but where the wood curved the other products failed. Teak is such an oily wood everything else beaded up , no matter how much i wash the oils out of the teak. I would recommend it . Have been using Deks Olje for over 40 years now to finish the teak decks and trim on my classic wooden cruiser.Have tried every other product on the market and nothing even comes close .My only problem with this product is that it has not been available for sale in Canada for many years now so I must order it when I'm in the U.S. and take it back home once a year, but the way this product performs in a marine environment it is definitely worth the effort . I was a little concerned the first time I ordered this product about the possibility of container damage and leakage during shipping but the seller did an amazing job of packaging so no worries there . Will continue to use this product as long as it,s still available for sale on all my interior and exterior applications . ... show more
