I love this water bottle!! Ice stays frozen for a good day or two. It’s a convenient design where each piece can be removed so it can be cleaned well. I’ve been pretty rough with it and so far it doesn’t have a dent. The little handle hasn’t broken, and neither have any of the other pieces. The straw/pour lid is genius. I would recommend buying a bottle boot for grip and protection, and a straw cleaner to clean the nooks and crannies. My only complaints are the silicone seal in the lid sometimes gets moldy, and once it does the spots are impossible to remove. You can easily buy replacements though. And it’s a bit difficult to clean the inside because it’s just small enough that your hand will barely fit inside, so getting a sponge in there is a struggle. ... show more

I got this Owala FreeSip for my 6-year-old to use at school, and it’s been a game-changer. The 24 oz size is just right holds enough water for the day without being too heavy for him to carry. He loves the straw option, which makes sipping easy, and I like that he can also swig from it when he’s super thirsty. It keeps water cold all day, even through lunch and recess in the heat. The denim color looks cool, and the bottle’s tough enough to handle a kindergartner’s drops and bangs. The locking lid is a lifesaver no spills in his backpack! Keeps water cold for hours, 2 methods of drinking: upright via a straw port that doesn't cause pucker lines on your lips that make you look like a 20 pack a day smoker, or swig port - my personal favorite, and nice color options. Doesn't leak if you screw it on right, fits in cup holder. Con: I have to keep filling it up. 22 oz is small for me. Cavate: I knew it was small when I ordered it but wanted to test the "straw" port option. I hate a straw but love this! A review mentioned ordering a SS straw from Amazon to replace the plastic OEM one. I may do that in the future. ... show more

Best water bottle I have had. I really like the straw being inside the thermos. I can't poke my eye out with this one. It takes no effort to take a sip. If I want to chug, i can just tilt it and bypass the straw function. Ice keeps very well in this thermos. Just as good as other popular brands like Stanley. If you want a long straw then this isn't for you, but I hate the long straws so it works great for me. The open and close top is pretty much perfect. It pops open with ease with the push of a button. Easy to close to. It locks closed tightly and the carry handle also secures it when down. Does not leak at all when closed. Speaking of the carry handle, it is convenient, but I wish it were a little more ergonomic when carrying with my fingers. It isn't horrible but it could be better. Overall, this is the best bottle that I have found. I have the large 40 ounce and the only problem that I have with it is it does not fit in a cup holder in my vehicles. I wish it did, honestly. Love these water bottles! We have used owala bottles in the past but my son picked this color combo and we upgraded to the bigger size. These are my favorite kid water bottles because they keep water cold for a long period of time.
