    • Big Sound from a Small Mic
I purchased this mic for one of my kids so they could play karaoke around the house. I thought it would be a nice toy the kids could play with and have fun. But the first time we turned it on, whoa! The sound that came out of this small mic was so loud from something so small. I was pleasantly surprised. And that was just the start. Once we got the volume under control and understood how it functioned, I was genuinely amazed at all it could do. The favorite feature with the kids soon became the incredible voice altering feature. Again, I was surprised at how well the voice changing feature worked and all the features this mic came with. Yes, as a parent, I understand the concern about providing the young ones with yet another device to make loud noises with inside the house. But, I have to say that this is genuinely worth it. You'll get laughter, fun, and giggles from the kids. And that's always worth it. Besides, if it gets too noisy, you can always buy some nice, puffy ear muffs to help drown out the sound. Arrived promptly as promised in just two days. Intuitive to turn on/off. microphone volumes and the remix functionalities are awesome given the price tag. Solidly built just don't use it as a hammer and don't get in the habit of doing mic-drops after your great performance on stage haha. three grandchildren 13, 10 and 4 and they spent hours with it nonstop. Great fun product. Also seamlessly synced with my phone Bluetooth. and played songs via my Pandora - since most of the songs on that apps also allows you to pull up lyrics, they are able to start singing with the music almost immediately - great family fun. the voice commands could be clearer since they have a stong asian accent hard to understand at first. ... show more

    • Doesn’t hold a charge
I want to love this microphone, but I don’t. It’s cute and has a few voice effects which my students think are hilarious. It’s also good to use when I need to speak over my students! The first day I used it, I had no issues. It charged overnight and was good for a full day of use. It’s never fully charged since then. I’ve left it charged overnight and upon my return to school, the red light to indicating it’s charging is still on. This past weekend I left it charging from Friday afternoon to Monday morning and it was still charging. It powers off after 10-15 minutes of use, which is super annoying and frustrating as I need to turn it back on and it practically screams “the blue tooth device is ready to pair” every time it turns on. I was hoping to buy a second microphone, but I’m going to buy another brand since this one just won’t charge fully. ... show more

I know it says that the microphone is for kids, but I got it for my dad because he likes singing and during the covid, we can't go to Karaoke room or enjoy many other entertainment activities. I was skeptical about what I was getting so I got the least expansive one with the highest review just to see how it works. The microphone is so much better than I expected and it was very easy to install as well. It also has so many features that comes with the microphone that I haven't used yet, but I am excited to try them out. I like it because it is not too loud to use at home with the volume adjustment key along with the disco light that I got with the microphone. It was perfect to create our own Karaoke room at home and they are also providing free life time warranty which I think adds great values to the price I paid for.
