My 7yo followed the directions and built a very cool working robot that walks and has a hydraulic tail. Only required a little adult help.

    • The solar cell is weak and the gears bind up so that it barely works
Very cool idea, my son was very excited, but then came the disappointment. After 2 hours of careful assembly, following directions and testing each build as we went, it barely functioned, if it functioned at all. If you have CFL or LED lighting good luck getting to to do anything at all.

Motor is too small to handle the load. Some parts do not look sturdy. Assembly is not easy, may be appropriate for 14+ year olds. Requires a lot of patience to assemble this toy. Toy returned.
