I purchased this shed for use inside my lanai. I love the style and it is sturdy enough for my use. However, it arrived broken and so the work began to get to a solution. Amazon said call the manufacturer and the manufacturer (in CHINA) said call Amazon. So you can probably figure out how well that went. Needless to say I still do not have a replacement or replacement part. The front foot that is weight bearing was broken off during shipping. This item seems to meet our needs and what was advertised, but when we opened the box, a packet of screws were missing. We cannot finish assembly until we receive and the item is too heavy to return. I cannot stand to come in and out of the house to do gardening on my back deck. Going to the garage to get my tools and either walk all the way around or walk through the house bringing dirt along the way. Now, I have the perfect sized wooden shed to sit on my back deck and keep my gardening tools within reach. The color on the wood is great. My house is a taupe color and the shed coordinates perfectly. The build was done by my son and husband. There were some moments along the way needed both of them. Most of it was done by my son solo. I believe the build took about an hour to complete. On a side note, I do have a very sensitive sense of smell. I found the odor to be stronger than I liked. However, once it was built, it quickly was moved outside. I would encourage you to build in a well ventilated area. I am sure it has something to do with the treatment or paint on the wood itself. I appreciate the shelves on the left and the open side on the right. It allows for great organization. I can keep tools or cushions on the open side. After being outside for several months, I am happy to report the shed shows no signs or wear or weathering of any kind. I am so excited as spring approaches to be able to tend to my plants and flowers much easier. I would highly recommend this shed to anyone needing some storage indoors or outdoors. Each component was well packaged and arrived with zero blemishes. All items were present and accounted for build the shed. Blessings! ... show more

    • A light weight outdoor shed
This was easy to put together and fit pretty well. It's very, very light so I affixed an additional plywood back, which wasn't hard to do. I'd say it is good value for the money but not designed for constant use or abuse.

This storage unit is made of very soft wood and poorly made. Would not recommend to anyone for any reason. I would re-box and send back for a refund if possible. Wasted $269 and ending up having to put it in the trash!!!!!!!

It's made out of wood that is about 1/2 inch thick. Mostly everything is wood except for the "roof" where they put a piece of metal on it but I question how waterproof it will be. There's this super awful smell coming from it and I hope it will go over in a few months! When you install the back panel be sure to follow the image exactly because the vertical piece is intended to be on one side only so that you can secure the shelves. ... show more

We ordered this thinking it looked like the plastic units that are sold at “big box” stores for roughly the same price. Didn’t realize it was made of real wood until we opened it. This is real cedar wood. It has a pleasant smell and is light weight. It’s real wood so don’t expect it to be air tight or water tight like something made of plastic. If you wanted that you could easily fill any gaps with some kind of filler, but we like the rustic-ness of it as is. We were impressed at the quality of the materials and the price point. Since it is wood you will need to seal it once a year or so, but that is easy with an paint brush and gives you an excuse to think about painting it a different color if you want to. We have had it outside for over a month in the elements and it does not look weathered at all yet. There are many parts (pre-fabricated wood panels and screws), but the assembly instructions are very easy to follow and holes are pre-drilled. Being cedar you are fine with using a manual screwdriver since the wood is softer, but if you have a battery operated drill it makes the process much quicker. We started with a manual screwdriver for fear of damaging the wood with a power driver, but switched to the power driver within a few steps of the instructions. It would be quicker to assemble with two people, but not difficult to do on your own. We love the shelves on one side and the open space on the other. Also the doors lined up perfectly and the magnet closures work great. It’s definitely worth the price and will last forever if you properly maintain it. Plus the cedar smell is pleasant every time you open it. Love this product ... show more
