My husband and I are both pretty handy. It took us about 6 hours total to get this together, partly because the instructions SUCK so you have to make your best guess at some junctures. We had to disassemble and reassemble one section where the drawings were not at all clear. Once we finally got it together it looks great and easily stores our off-season patio cushions and outdoor tools. We did leave most of the plastic on the panels; as others have mentioned, it is like pulling out your fingernails to pull every shred of plastic wrap off the panels. We set ours on a foundation of pavers. Remains to be seen how well it will hold up. It’s thinner-gauge steel but seems pretty solid. This is a fantastic deal for the money. As mentioned in the instructions and other reviews, the holes don’t line up without a level surface. I couldn’t get a level surface so my work around was self drilling lath screws #8x1/2”,and they saved my life and sanity putting this thing together. Pro: reasonable price, spacious, labels and instructions are very easy to follow although it doesnt hurt to do it with some help to make the process faster,and good for light storage. Cons: very flimsy metal can be dented with minimal pressure, no bottom included (that is clarified in the description though i just find it inconvenient), came with minor scratches, and its not walls are not weight baring so its not meant to have stuff leaning against it Overall: for what i need it for, it works well. But i wouldn’t recommend it for heavy duty stuff with frequent traffic like daily gardening or storing large bulky items. ... show more

Due to the price, I wasn't expecting a lot. But, unfortunately, the shed is difficult to put together due to flimsy siding, instructions listing several steps at once with only pictures. I am using this shed to hide some tools under a covered concrete pad. So, I knew it wasn't going to stand out in the elements and that it had a flat concrete foundation. I wish I would have thought about the placement of the door. The shed is narrow and not sturdy enough to hang tools from it's sides. Access to anything on the left side is very difficult. I have a shelving unit in it. But, even though I'm a size zero, there isn't enough room to slide inside and retrieve items. Before you buy it, think about hwat you want to store and how you will access it once it's put away. ... show more

I live in an apartment and was able to put this on my patio. I put it on top of a pallet, and closed out the bottom with a tarp (and duct taped the tarp to the inside of the shed, to keep out the mice). I store my decorations and camping gear in here, and everything is still dry and great! So far, this has survived 2 summers and a winter, so I can attest that it is pretty good. I do remember the assembly being a bit difficult, and its definitely a two person build. But other than that, it has held up well! ... show more

Everything was pretty good except for the length of the screws provided. Screws were too short and easily stripped. A good wind could come and blow the shed apart. All the manufacturer has to do is switch out the screws for longer or thicker ones. instructions we're not very clear so I had to figure some things out on my own. Although the ad says screw holes are pre-drilled, some were not and some were not lined up properly so, if you do not know how to drill a hole into aluminum, small enough for the screw to be screwed in where it's missing then you probably shouldn't get this shed. If you are having a handyman build it for you, then it's a good deal except I would recommend switching out the screws provided for ones a little bit longer and thicker. It does not come with a floor so, I built a 10x12 deck to be able to have two sheds side by side and a work area. I will shoot a video of building the second identical shed in a couple of days and uploaded so you can follow the steps I took. ... show more
