So my cat Luna is very picky when it comes to toys. A lot of things just don't provide her with enough stimulation or excitement to make her even remotely interested in playing. There is only 1 other toy she plays with other than these mice and she only plays on average with it once a month while she plays with these mice daily. She has literally every toy she could want because I spoil her like crazy! She loves bringing these little mice to bed with her. She will bring them especially when I am gone for the day and she misses me ill find them under my covers when I get home. I've found them in the bathtub. She's played with them running up and down the hall batting them or carrying them in her mouth. These are her absolute favorite thing in the world. I am gutted because I accidentally washed a load of laundry with them in it because she sometimes hides them in my laundry hamper and I forgot to check so I had to order them again. She's had these ones for about a year and the squeak still works so I haven't needed to replace them but these little guys do not like the washing machine. They are electronic so I'm not surprised which is why my rating remains at 5 stars. I brought the mouse up from the wash and gave it back to her. It works fine now...but.... So let's address what happens when you wash these things. First of all as I was loading my laundry into the dryer I heard an ongoing beeping like an alarm. I kept searching for the source of the noise and discovered the mouse. It would not stop. It sounded literally like one of those cheap house alarms you have to turn off whenever you open the door or it'll just go off and never stop. It was so loud which is not a noise I thought these little things could make because the chirp isn't horribly loud. It can get annoying in the middle of the night when your trying to sleep but it's not terrible. So I smacked it a few times off the edge of the washer trying to shut it up. That actually worked surprisingly. It still squeaks just fine and my cat is playing with it now. The reason I said these things don't like the washer is because of the incessant sound it made before I smacked it against the machine. Honestly it's a quality product and the only reason I'm buying more is because she loves them so much and in case next time I can't fix it. Cause if I can't fix it I'm chucking it outside. ... show more

The cats will play with it. Leave it alone for a bit... and I will hear them playing with it in the middle of the night. But this was before I got Jack, our little rescue pup. He's part Papillion, Jack Russell, Pom... but very much a terrier. He wants to kill this thing. If I allow him to have it, he will chew it up, rip out the stuffing, crack the plastic case containing the squeaker/battery. I am afraid he's going to swallow the battery, so he is always supervised when we play with this item. Be warned. We have gone through six of these toys... ☠ ... show more

My cat has yet to get bored of this toy and its the only one I use with him. I typically play with him before feeding him to get his hunting instincts in check. Or I play with him whenever he has extra energy and could use some more stimulation. My cat is very responsive to the toy and the squeaking always keeps his attention. However, make sure your cat doesn't have access to the toy when you're not actively playing with them, the noise will drive you crazy! ... show more

The one on the bottom of the photo we’ve had for around 2 weeks. Our cat is obsessed with this toy. He will carry it from room to room and we can get the recommended play time every day. I didn’t realize when I bought the first one that it squeaks and it can be kind of annoying but it’s why he loves and it’s not so bad. It’s not super durable like I said but it’s also pretty inexpensive. The stuffing is good but I won’t let my cat play with the old one now that it’s coming out because he’ll probably eat it. I’ll be buying this again since my cat loves it so much! ... show more

I love these cat toys. And my cats do too. Iv had some previously with an cat I used to have and it was absolutely his favorite toy. And it so happens to be my new baby's favorite toy. The other one I have still works and it been 7 years. Not sure if it's the same brand but they definitely last. The sound is quite loud at times but realistic. I will definitely be buying more toys like this! ... show more

These quickly became the favorite toys. They hold up pretty well given how much of beating they get. The battery wears out before they fall apart. I am sad they cannot be recharged or have the battery replaced. It makes them wasteful. If they were more of a long term product, I would give full 5 stars. ... show more

My cat loves this but the squeaking sound is just as annoying as you would imagine. I thought it would be more of a sneaker inside (similar to a dog toy) but this has some sort of speaker that makes a very annoying squeaking sound anytime it touches anything.
