Easy to install and get cars charged up. I bought a used 2020 chevy bolt ev and I was so happy with the charger and car that I now bought a second bolt ev. I am now thinking of buying the same charger and having two. the app works and is super basic. you can adjust the amps depending on the breaker size you have. I have a 30 amp breaker and my charger is set to 30 amp max. when I have a tesla charge at my station they must set the tesla app to max amperage 30.     • Don’t believe what you read.
I bought this charger for 2 reasons. 1 the ability to not have someone charge without “permission”. This seems to work ok. The ability to adjust the amount of amp output. This does not work at all. I had a Electrican install a 6awg wire on a 50 amp breaker. This should allow way more than the 24 amps it’s putting out. The so called app does not allow it to adjust to over the 24 amps. Every time I try it reverts back to 24. I have tried to contact the seller and manufacture, of course zero customer service. ... show more

    • Easy to Install, Mobile Features, and Prevents Unauthorized Users
First, I was pleasantly surprised because the charger is thinner than it looks in the picture and sits against the wall flusher than I thought it would. It is also very easy to install, as you just use 4 screws to install a bracket and then hang the charger on the bracket. The cables are thick but I can still run it under my garage door (with some foam protection) while I charge my car in the driveway. The screen provides useful information on how much current is being used, how long it's been charging, and the total # of kWh. I really like that the charger will not starting charging unless you tap the included RFID cards or use the app to initiate the charging. It allows me to store the charging trigger outside without worrying that someone will steal my power. You need to download the Smart Life mobile app to connect to the charger. Here's a tip, if the charger is not connecting to the app and the wifi symbol is flashing, you need to reset the pairing, by pressing the emergency stop button on the side, 3 times. The wifi symbol should be gray and not flashing before the discovery and pairing will work with the app. The app is great and allows me to adjust the current and to monitor the charge and usage. ... show more

The unit went in fine and was easy to setup. A little background I am running this off grid from my solar system with battery and inverters, so it has to be right. BUT Smart Life app is poor at best. I have a hardwired Tesla charger and this charger so locking the charger to a rate of 12 AMPS was one of the selling points. Well in the setup the unit resets itself to 48 amps on its own. So every time you start to charge you need to check amps. The video show the unit comes with 2 cards and the video shows "Users" on the app.... Not the case so you can NOT assign the cards to users to track usage. the bottom line is the unit is fine the APP is useless. ... show more

Bought this charger two weeks ago. It performs pretty well so far. There is some learning curve to pick up. First of all, it has 3 ways of initiating the charging: RFID card, Home Life schedule, and Application manual start. Only the last one can store the charging history, shown in the photo. I have Audi e-tron which has trouble of stucked charging gun in the charging port. There is no exception on this charger. After careful examination, I discovered the full open of Osoeri charging gun is only 7.7mm. Audi's original gun is 9.8mm. I filed the gun opening to to make it wider. Then it is ok to remove after the charging. Other than that, everything is perfect. ... show more

    • Fast EV Charger 240 V Easy To Install
The media could not be loaded. I was able to install the charger right out of the box using the included hardware. Luckily, I had a 240V outlet that fit the power plug, so I was able to plug it in without the need to pull a permit. The charger has an LCD screen that displays all the information about the current going into the car and also has an NFC reader. It comes with two proximity key cards that I used to start the charging session. According to the information displayed on the LCD screen, it charged my 2019 Chevy Bolt at a rate of 0.07 kW per minute. It took about 6 hours to fully charge my car. Overall, this charger feels more like a small commercial unit rather than a home charger. ... show more

    • Worked once and company is not responsive
Had an electrician come out to install. This charger worked initially and then didn’t work anymore. I can’t explain or understand why? Emailed the vendor and they asked for order number and pics of charger installed and I haven’t heard back from them. Stay away from this charger.

We just bought a new electric car and thought that installing this would be helpful. We thought that it would be difficult to get it installed, but it was quite simple. Once we connected it to our wall plug, it worked fast and charges better and faster than we thought it would.
