Do not buy this product. It won’t work with newer model kindles. You only get a couple of apps with it. The rest cost an arm and a leg. Half of the free apps stop working and the customer support sucks because you can only email and the process takes forever to get help you end up giving up.

  • Great concept but not worth it yet - too many issues
Size: Fire Style: 6 Games
Updated: DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE A FIRE TABLET. After the upgrades on the fire very few of the games work and even more games are buggy. I can currently only play 1 game.. it's not worth it. I was really excited for this for my 3 year old. We don't have many screen time activities for her and I though this would be a great mix of hands on and screen time activities. Firstly - the base is big, so this is awkward and tricky to store. There's only 1 good case out there but it's all huge. The ipad one looks much sleeker and smaller (and from what I can tell less buggy) Secondly - the games. Overall they aren't developed enough, too limited in functionality and don't progress with difficulty to make things more challenging. - Counting Town only goes to 10 currently, so is not worth it. It was too basic for my 3 year old, no idea how they think it's suitable for 3 - 5 year olds. - Shape Builder - we are yet to get this game to work - i've been going back and forth with support and have sent logs, and it won't load - Costume Party - not worth it as a game - we've barely played it - Stories - this is my daughters favorite. It's a great concept and really responsive to when you change the costumes on the character, however there are limited stories so feels like we do the same stories over and over again. There's no way to make it more difficult or progress in anyway - ABC's - good for practicing letters and sounds, again very simple and no way to make it more difficult - Squiggle Magic - This is a good one, it's open ended so you can create characters and place them in these settings. Limitation is really that there aren't many settings and your settings fill up with the characters you've made. I really wanted to love this but have been so disappointed with how limited it is. ... show more

  • Doesn't work at all on Fire HD 8 (10th Generation) Kid's Edition Tablet- Waste of time and money
Size: Fire Style: 6 Games
UPDATE: After waiting for > 24 hours for OSMO support to respond via email (that's the only way to get support from them, and it's SLOW), I returned the OSMO purchased, after which I received a response from OSMO regarding the Amazon Fire HD 8, 10th Generation (2020) tablet. This information should have been included on the product listing or in the product packaging- hopefully some other users find this useful if they are experiencing problems with Amazon Fire Tablet compability ===================================== From OSMO support (support@playosmo.com): The Osmo Reflector Adapter is required which is a specially designed band that can be used with the Osmo Fire Base & Reflector for Amazon Fire tablets in order to make the Amazon Fire HD 8, 10th Generation (released in 2020) compatible with Osmo. The Osmo apps that ARE compatible with this device are: Little Genius Starter Kit for Fire (ABCs, Stories, Costume Party, Squiggle Magic) Genius Starter Kit for Fire (Words, Numbers, Tangram, Masterpiece, Newton) Coding Starter Kit (Coding Awbie, Coding Jam, Coding Duo) The Osmo apps that are NOT currently compatible with this device are: Osmo World Early Math Adventure Bundle (Shape Builder and Counting Town) Family Game Night Bundle (Lettertopia and Math Buzz) Detective Agency Pizza Co. Monster Super Studio games (Disney Mickey Mouse & Friends, Disney•Pixar Incredibles 2, Disney Princess, Disney Frozen 2) HotWheels MindRacers ===================================== Original review follows: Very expensive way to waste a few hours trying to get the apps to work on a tablet that appears to be completely incompatible. Each and every app seems unable to access the camera - even when running the tablet in parent's mode and explicility granting camera access to each OSMO app. Each app gets "stuck" on the "center camera" step, and then if you skip it, the app acts like its working normally but then just shows yellow rectangles whenever an image of the play mat should be taken and shown. This product should not be marketed as "Fire Tablet compatible" when it doesn't even work with the Fire Tablets that Amazon is currently selling! I'd advise staying away from this product entirely if you are trying to use with a Fire Tablet, else contact the company to confirm compatibility with your specific tablet and version of Fire OS before purchasing! ... show more

  • Most apps won't even start. This company needs a to spend more on testing and QA.
Size: Fire Style: 4 Games
This company is spending a lot of money on marketing, but not nearly enough on QA. The ABCs app is the only one that will actually start on our Kindle. The other three simply have a loading screen when you start them that never moves to the actual game. Even the ABCs game that does load is obviously not a finished product as it has the text "Development Build" in the bottom right, and freezes if you play for longer than ten minutes. I really wanted this to work with my son spending so much time playing on the tablet during the pandemic, but they should have finished developing these apps before releasing them as a finished product for a pretty steep price. I am giving it two stars, because the pieces are of pretty good quality and it's a good concept executed very poorly. ... show more

  • Suppose to be compatible with Fire Tablet.,.
Size: Fire Style: 4 Games
The product itself is great!!! However, the product does not fully work with a kindle fire tablet as it’s supposed to. Only half (2) of the games work, the other 2 just spin and spin!!! Had bought it as a gift for our child and tried it out. We were disappointed it didn’t work :(

  • Stops working after a month
Size: Fire Style: 4 Games
Lasted less then a month. My daughter used it on and off. It started not working this past week. The OSMO apps freeze on starting, does not start any games. Contacted their customer support and their excuse was that they are a small business and could not assist over the phone. Although I could fill out a suggestion form for their developers. They obviously do not care, will be returning. Thankfully Amazon made it right and allowed the return! ... show more

  • Fire 10HD Can't Read Shapes
Size: Fire Style: 6 Games
First, the set-up instructions are basically non-existent. Second, the Shapes app is not reading the pieces on the board. You have one shot with a 3-5 year old and if the app/hardware is going to fail the first time, there will not be a second time. It's also a little ridiculous the games/activities are separate apps and not one immersive app. That's poor planning and execution on Osmo's part. Looks like this will be an Amazon return. ... show more
