  • Shh, don't tell Niantic...
Color: Pink
No, Niantic, this device doesn't really work for 'Pokemon Go.' It doesn't make it possible to get over 100km overnight while we sleep. It doesn't help get buddy candy and hatch eggs when the weather is absolutely miserable outside. It isn't easy to set up and use on a regular basis. It isn't helpful for new players to get caught up against people who have been playing for years. It's just inoperable, you know? So, yeah, Niantic, move along; there's nothing to see here... ... show more

  • Full Tutorial (Android)
Color: Black
It took me 2 days to figure out how to simulate my steps for PoGo. You must have Google Fit app for this to work. Google fit tracks your steps. First thing is to go into your phone's settings, then Apps and go to both Google fit and Pogo and grant both apps all permissions. Next, go into Google fit, sign in and go to profile, settings. Scroll down and find manage connected apps. PoGo should be there. I honestly haven't figured out what to do if it doesn't show PoGo there. Next close out of Pogo completely, not just exit out. Then put the phone on airplane mode and uncheck location from the drop down menu. Now put the phone on the cradle. Open Google fit and go to track a workout. I usually use walk. It will countdown and then give the cradle a little push and it will just go and go. Tips: set your Google fit height to max (8'11") it will calculate a lot more distance in a shorter time. Also, if you can, incubate as many eggs as possible, they'll all be hatched when you come back. Lastly, make a pokemon that requires 20km for 1 candy (so legendary) as your buddy. ... show more

  • Aprox: 10 km / hour for Pokemon Go
Color: Black
This is the third swing I'm testing for Pokemon Go. So far this is the best of the 3. The other two are USB or battery-powered which is cool when I want to hatch eggs and leave my phone in the car swinging away. But if you have access to a USB, this one is awesome. Most of the ones I see have the base and "Y" shaped supports and the cradle has arms with texture grooved into it. These grooves ware down the supports. This Orzero Steps Counter though uses ball bearings which will last a long time, probably longer than the electromagnet in the base. I will update if I break it somehow :) ... show more

  • Delivered late but Device works as expected
Color: Black
Well it came delayed for some reason even though I expected it Thursday it arrived Saturday. Box was sturdy not damaged. Actually the plastic is studier than I expected it to be as well. Its a little fiddly when youre trying to set it up the first time. It had these white foam stickers with no indication on where to use them? I put it on a rug next to the bed so it didnt walk itself off the counter. I caught it trying to do that. My cat was also able to successfully operate it, by beginning the swing motion, and monitored it for quality. He bit my phone and swatted it and it stayed in place on the rug. As seen by my photos I went to bed at 36km 10pmand woke up to 98km walked at 7am. And my buddy had acquired 85 candies overnight. ... show more

  • Your mileage may vary
Color: Black
TL;DR: Make sure the device is plugged in, is on a flat surface, and is not wobbling. Offset gaps using thin sheets, such as index cards. Product does better/worse on different phones, based on gyro sensors and calibration. Let me first start off by saying that different phones will produce different results with this device, based on different gyro sensors. Before using this device, it might be a good idea to fully calibrate your gyro sensor. For this review, I will be talking about Android based phones (Samsung Galaxy J7 and Moto X Pure), using Google Fit for the purpose of racking up distance in Pokemon Go (with adventure sync turned on). As far as the product itself, it's made entirely of plastic, except for the electromagnet and rollers, of course. One thing I want to point out is, the device won't do much without being plugged in, because it depends on the electromagnet receiving current. Also, if the surface underneath isn't absolutely flat, it's a good idea to offset the gaps, using something like index cards. The weight of the phone(s) will also make a difference in balance, which can produce a wobbling effect. A lot of the reviews for this product boast pretty amazing results, with one reviewer showing 61.5 km (~38 miles) overnight. As far as my testing goes, the Moto X Pure does 0.5 miles per hour and the Samsung J7 does 0.25 miles per hour. This equates to 4 miles and 2 miles respectively over night (8 hours). Both results are pretty abysmal. After tweaking Google Fit, calibrating gyro sensors, and making absolutely sure the device is flat, and not wobbling, that's about the best I can come up with. I'm not entirely convinced about the usefulness of this product, but your mileage may vary (pun intended). I'm interested in any comments regarding this review, especially any tips/tricks people can pass along. ... show more

  • Works great for Pokemon go adventure sync feature
Color: Black
It works as intended, the steps are counting and added to the apple health app. It also works nicely with the Pokemon Go Adventure sync feature. Easy to hatch all those eggs you receive if you don’t plan on going out anymore on that day. The only bad thing I noticed was that it isn’t very stable, the device can “walk” itself off the table. I fixed this by putting on a rubber coaster, so the device has more friction on its surface and doesn’t move itself anymore while the phone swings itself. ... show more

  • It works for pokemon go!
Color: Pink
OK first, this thing actually works for pokemon go! Just make sure you have adventure sync on. You need to open PoGo, then open your fit app, then close PoGo. After, put your phone on this and let it do its thing. Make sure you don't have battery saver on though. I use this bc I'm disabled and mobility is really hard for me. My only complaint is the shipping. This thing came in a bag envelope and as you can see in the pics, the box was damaged and half the parts were outside the product box and in the bag. I was lucky nothing was damaged. There are no assembly instructions but it's pretty straightforward in my opinion. It came with a small blue binder clip and I have no idea why. Also, I have a Samsung Note 8 (and use Google Fit) and it fits in this thing as long as I take my case off. It will fit 1 phone on each side but the spots are too thin to keep any kind of case on the phone while you're using it. I think that's how it is with all these types of products though. ... show more
