I received the lamp quickly. It was easy to open and put together the stand. The magnetic stand is a little bothersome since it comes apart easily if too much pressure is put on it. But that’s not a big deal. My son says that he would prefer that the stand was black. I supposed you could just paint it since it’s unfinished wood. The directions were clear and simple and the lamp has a lot of different color settings and glow settings which my kids enjoy changing. The directions state that there is a blue light at the bottom when you charge it the first time, which should turn off when it is finished. This only happened when I first took it out of the package, which in fact there was a blue light and it did turn off when it was fully charged. But I haven’t seen it light up at just the bottom since then. The initial charge didn’t seem to take too long but I wasn’t anxiously waiting either. The charge does truly last all night so it’s great as a night light. The moon design is really beautiful and the colors are rich. It does have a dim option but I wish that it could dim more. I really like that it is made out of strong PVC material. It’s so tempting for the little ones to just bounce it but it is definitely not for bouncing. I had to remind my kids that it’s not a bouncy ball! They did drop it a few times on accident and it held up quite well. However, I mistakenly left the lamp on the ledge that shares our stairwell and my daughter knocked it over and it fell at least 15 feet. To my pleasant surprise the lamp still works! But the components inside became loose. I’m so glad it still works as it’s supposed to. It would be great if it came in a bigger size! ... show more

I love the variety of colors and ability to dim, which makes for a good nightlight for my kids. I would give it 5 stars, but the charging cord is very cheap made and stopped working after less than 10 months of occasional use. Now the light is useless until I can find a replacement for the cord. I would suggest taping the ends with electrical tape when you first get it to make it last longer. ... show more

When I ordered the glowing moon, I thought it was nice, but the beautiful words sold me. It starts, "If they whisper to you that you cannot withstand the storm, Whisper Back, I am the Storm." I have always encouraged my daughter to stand up for herself and be strong. The moon orb was a beautiful rendering of the lunar surface. It was touch-sensitive and changed colors and came on when you touched it. My granddaughter recently asked me for one. I was happy to get her the Galaxy Orb. The galaxy is perfect for my granddaughter and has different light setting that show the galaxy on the orb but also on her walls and ceiling. She was so grateful to receive the gift. ... show more

So far this product fits my needs perfectly -- the globe is comfortable to hold in one hand, the glow is just enough to show in video chat when my ttrpg group gets together. I like that I can pick a specific color via the remote that suits our current events. I did notice that it never fully charged -- never stopped the blue glow at the base -- when I left it running for the first 24 hours, it could not turn on for more than a minute after I unplugged it. Once I thought to hit the power button on the remote right after plugging the globe in and setting it down, it was happily charged up the next time I went into that room, which was probably 5 hours later. I was traveling on the day that the "buy more" discount coupon was valid after I registered the extended warranty. I don't know if I would have used that opportunity anyhow. I prefer to be very sure I like something enough (and that the household pets will not damage it or themselves) before I consider a second purchase. ... show more
