Renewed unlocked phone sold by Olympic in Excellent condition. First off, it is in excellent condition. Or close enough for me anyway. The phone looks new except for a small scratch on the back that shouldn't be there, according to Amazon's description of "Excellent". But it was going in a case and like most people I mainly care about the screen, which is scratch-free and looks mint. The phone is unlocked, but it's a Verizon carrier unlocked model SM-G991U, NOT the factory unlocked model SM-G991U1. I asked the seller about this before purchasing, but they didn't respond until a week after I already had the phone. Their late reply was "This item is fully unlocked to work with all carriers". It's not an issue with this particular phone, because there were no differences in features from different carriers, but definitely something to be aware of. Ultimately I don't care and had no problem adding a T-Mobile eSIM and it updated with their firmware. This is my second time buying an Amazon Renewed phone. The first time I received a locked phone (from a different seller), but Amazon makes it easy to return for a refund and there's no real risk. So I didn't mind trying again and overall THIS phone looks good and works well, so I'm happy, enough, with THIS renewed purchase. ... show more

I took over two weeks to finally have time to set up the phone since I work 12 hours a day, spend another 3-6 hours in the gym, and normal life responsibilities. I finally set it up and I was doing ride shares as a driver and the phone went to a Grey scale. No color. The volume went out on it and I couldn't hear anything on apps or the GPS which has me illegally holding a phone which got me a ticket for it trying to navigate and cost me $171 so zero stars for this phone being called excellent. I will just buy a new one this seller didn't provide an honest product. The battery dies quickly and it always has to be attached to the charger. I had a Walmart moto 5 g phone while I was waiting on this to arrive and it worked better and longer than this one. You have to restart it to bring the color back and then it goes right back out. I restarted before the review and it was in color until the first sentence. I'm glad I have the other between phone or I'd be missing work tonight again costing more income. Buyer beware. This is a nightmare. I wanted this phone so I could use the camera for my tiktoks since that mogo g camera stinks and is fuzzy, the camera on this is nice but filming in black and white isn't it. Then I can't even access tiktok from this. Asks me to give an ID and credit card but I can access it from everything on tiktok from the old phone and computer. I don't know why this was sold other than to trick someone out of their money but lesson learned. Never a rebuilt or refurbished phone. Everyone told me to buy a new phone with a contract, but I decided to take my chances with this "renewed" phone. I swear, this phone is brand new! There is not a single scratch, scuff, or blemish anywhere on it! I was a little concerned that it was shipped in an envelope instead of a box, but it was undamaged. Currently waiting to work with this seller regarding the wi-fi calling that is missing from this phone. My original samsung 21s has wi-fi calling. I needed a new phone because my original phone would no longer connect to the network. I loved my galaxy 21s so much I wanted the same color and phone that I had. I won't care about the wi-fi calling, but, the reception at my home is poor and I depend on it for calls and text messages while at home. I took the one I just purchased to the AT&T store that confirmed the wi-fi calling abilities are not on this refurbished phone. ... show more

I bought this phone on an impulse buy and was very happy I did. The phone came with not scratches or blemishes on the screen or camera. The sides did have a few small nicks on the corner of the phone, nothing too bad but visible if you look for them. Battery life is Alright, not bad, not Good but decent enough. The phone does come with a 25W fast charger. Cameras are really good. I upgraded from a Moto G Play 2023 and a Galaxy S10e.
