Very happy with this minibike. It's perfect size for 10 year old and still exciting enough for 15 year old. I'm 5'11 210lbs and it handled me fine even though I'm over the weight limit a little. Comes mostly assembled. The instruction book uses photos which are very hard to understand. However Oryxearth has a one and a half minute video available that is much more helpful. Lol. Yes that short video made assembly much easier than the instructions and shows all you need to finish assembly. Less than one hour ez and I'm not mechanically inclined. It's zips along quite fast out of the box. It's rather quiet. Quieter than a lawn mower. I don't foresee the neighbors complaining. You will want something stronger than a bike helmet so I suggest a motorcycle helmet. Probably gloves. (My teen tried a wheelie without telling me and crashed and scraped up his hands. He did cosmetic damage to the bike but the bike handled the mild crash well). You will need oil and gas. Also chain lube. A lot of mini bike forums recommend a zinc oil additive for new engines. It came with 4 different colored sets of stickers I watched many videos and reviews to help decide on this bike over others from similar price point. Happy with my decision and I recommend. The media could not be loaded. I bought this mini bike for my 10 year old son. He has never used a mini bike/dirt bike. He got the hang of it right away. Only took a couple pulls to get it started. I like that it takes non ethanol gas as regular ethanol gas can lead to carburetor problems. It’s super easy to use. It can handle bumps and uneven grounds. Being that the tires are wide and this is not a dirt bike, the grip is much less. I wouldn’t recommend using this on wet and muddy ground. He’s used it maybe 5 times and no problems. I can’t comment on more frequent use or owning this for a longer period of time. Overall great. ... show more

Mt typical 13yo son is a gamer. In hopes to get him off machines, we bought him this mini bike. Success! He rides everyday! Even if only for an hour or 2, it's time away from gaming in front of a screen. His older brother (20yo) and he put it together themselves. Make sure u read the directions first! It was easy to assemble. They were very helpful when my first bike never arrived or whatever happend it was Christmas time. Easy to start and fun to ride chain rattles a little bit. Great overall she was happy to receive it on Christmas morning thanks guys

Don't purchase unless your able to fix yourself because they will need constant fixing from new. I purchased 3 for my sons ,and regret it right away. One came in with non working kill switch so you couldn't turn off ,and kickstand broke right away . The chains are always falling off . The brakes on all 3 stopped working !! Extremely dangerous ,and the gas on one keeps sticking when used so bike keeps going.do not buy if you can't repair constantly !!!!! ... show more

    • A few minor kinks and its still running great almost six months later

I purchased this for my son's 12th birthday. After 3 months of riding the spark plug began to foul. After removing and cleaning a few times because the engine wouldnt start, or would stall soon after starting especially when accelerating, I decided to replace the plug and its been smooth accelerating and no stalling since. The next issue happened around the 3 to 4 month with the front wheel bearing failing. After contacting Oryxearth they sent a new wheel (took 2 weeks to get). At the five month mark the drive chain broke. I then ordered a chain breaker tool, a ten foot chain for future chain issues. I took advantage of the opportunity to bond with my son by changing the rear tire (using the good tire from the recently failed front wheel bearing), cutting and preparing a new chain from the ten foot chain, changing the pads on the rear disc brake while adjusting it, and installing the new chain. The chain did fall off after a week, but after readjusting the tensioner its been awesome for the last 6 weeks. My son had been riding his friend and his brother on it at the same time, nearing the max weight, and I had seen him stopping and drifting. I told him added weight and hard turns will wear out his tires, chain and other components faster. Dedicate some time to maintenance this mini bike, and understand its limitations and it and should last you for many years ... show more

I received this mini bike with the packaging in great shape. I un boxed the mini bike and started assembly,took approximately 25 from start to finish. The overall quality of this mini bike has by far exceeded my expectations. The package included all the decals in every color combination as the advertised pictures show making it very versatile and looks great. Gave it to my son for his 9th birthday this morning and he put approximately 3.5-4 hours on it today and this mini bike runs flawlessly. Has no problem idling or driving for long periods of time and has plenty of power for it's size. The 3.5 hp motor is perfect for this mini bike, it's very quiet and smooth idling and started on the third pull for the first time. Starts 1-2 pulls each time. Overall very satisfied with this purchase and probably going to order a couple more. Very good mini bike for kids or adults. ... show more
