I bought 2 for camping and they work well. FM radio reception is a little weak but works as it should. Speakers are not the most powerful in the world, but you get your money's worth. When paired together they sound good. Battery life is good also. Never ran them dead over the weekend.

I bought this for my husband since he travels a lot for work and is a bit of an audiophile. The sound is great! It came with everything (charger cord etc.) and charges really quickly. Has a good Bluetooth radius and can be pretty dang loud! Pairs easy, no problems. When I say my husband puts this thing through the ringer, I mean it. He's shoved it in lunchboxes, hot cars, rain, extreme heat, etc. Still sounds great! He loves it! I was skeptical because of the price, but it really has been great. I was looking for 'ortizan' to pair it with my phone and couldn't use it for several days then learned it's the s3 named device. Too many available devices in my area, obviously confused me. Glad it works! Love the price, power and that it's waterproof. The dancing lights are fun but would be good to have other modes too. Which it may but I havent checked yet ... show more

This speaker has a really long battery life for its size. I use it in my bathroom/shower area and, after three weeks of daily use, I finally needed to charge it this morning. It is a replacement for an older, less durable speaker and, like any portable speaker, it has different tonal qualities, but the fidelity and crispness of soudn is EXCELLENT! I have it suction-cupped to the mirror (has not moved) and pointed toward the shower. Four 360-rotations will unscrew it. SOLID BARGAIN! ... show more

I received this shower speaker 2 weeks ago, charged it up and have been using it twice daily in the shower. Great sound and battery life. Quickly connects and plays. No issues. I have only tried the bluetooth connection, not sd card or radio. I would definitely recommend.

This is a hard review to write, because in a lot of ways this is my favorite Bluetooth shower speaker ever, but... if you're going to buy this, also buy the extended warranty. I *always* do my homework before buying one of these things. I create a spreadsheet with all of the relevant specs. Yes, I look at the price, but I also look at the brand, model number, charger port (e.g. USB-micro or USB-C), IP rating, published watt (and possibly Ohm) rating for the speaker, how many mAH the battery is, Bluetooth version, etc. The Ortizan S3 'won out' in my last round of purchasing, and it lived up to its specs... it was truly the best Bluetooth shower speaker I've ever had, features- and performance-wise. Long battery life (out of a 2,600 mAH battery), a good, loud (8w) speaker so I can hear the music/podcast about the splashing water of the shower, and good Bluetooth reception (courtesy of BT 5.0), so my phone can be 'far away' on the charger while it's playing through/to the speaker. The only reason this rating isn't five stars... is the build quality. I purchased this thing on October 4th, 2021, and received it quickly. I charged it up (per the instructions), and immediately started using it. I fell in love with it quickly... so when the speaker grill fell off/out in February or March of this year (2022), I didn't care. I kept using it, because the area behind it is plastic anyway (i.e. it wasn't the speaker grill preventing water ingress, it was the plastic area behind it, which I still had). Fast-forward to three days ago. I turn off the shower, dry off, and reach back inside to take my shower speaker off of its hook. Like I always do, I use another towel (an old guest towel) to dry all the shower condensation off of my shower speaker, so I can set it on a box to completely dry. As I'm wiping off the suction cup (which I never use, but still... just part of the ritual/process), the entire suction cup assembly (including the stud that it screws into) just comes out of the speaker housing, like it's made of cardboard. The biggest problem is that *now* the speaker housing is breached... it is exposed to the air, including the warm, moist/humid air of the shower environment... which won't be good for the electronic components inside. I should also note that this one still works... it's just that it's no longer 'rated' for the job I purchased/intended it for... which is a Bluetooth *shower* speaker. My suspicion is that, despite being listed/sold as a 'shower speaker', it's probably more rated for hanging on a bicycle or something (why else would the otherwise out-of-place compass be on it?! lol), and it was originally intended/designed to be water-resistant against *that* kind of challenge... and not so much in the super-steamy, warm-to-hot shower environment. Oh well... off to shop for another Bluetooth shower speaker! ... show more

    • Stopped working
I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas. It stopped working and wouldn’t charge after 3 months. It worked just long enough I couldn’t return it. Very disappointing. Worked great while it still worked.
