Description

The Ortho® Dial N Spray® Hose End Sprayer makes it easy to apply Ortho® liquid weed killers, insect killers, fungicides, and fertilizers dispensing approximately 2 gallons of water per minute. There's no mixing, measuring, or mess. Simply choose the desired setting and spray pattern, pour the product into the sprayer jar, and connect the hose. Dial N Spray® has 14 built-in dilution settings to automatically mix the product with water. There are also three spray patterns so you can deliver the product in an efficient and effective way. Use the Broadcast pattern for large, open areas; the Jet spray for high, hard-to-reach places up to 25 feet or tough rinse jobs; and the Shower setting to provide a gentle shower that's perfect for flowers and gentle vegetation. While using the Ortho® Dial N Spray® Hose End Sprayer, the extended-grip handle and ergonomically designed trigger makes the grip comfortable while the Dial N Spray® anti-backflow device prevents product from going back into water systems.

After my wife bought one of these for fertilizing her garden, I purchased one for another purpose: washing my cars. I initially spray with a forceful spray from a water jet or other hose-end nozzle and then fill with about 4 oz of liquid car wash, that I dilute with water to fill the container. I dial to 8 oz to spray the car with duds, let soar for a minutes, and then go over with a wet microfiber car wash mitt. I then rinse with clear water, blow off the droplets with a leaf blower, and finish with a clean microfiber towel and a high quality grapheme sealant. This takes about 30 minutes and not too much effort. The results are a slick and smooth shine that will make you proud. The item appears to be reasonably sturdy and has the advantage over similar items of having a suction tube and dosing dial, and 3 spray patterns.     • Very durable , easy to use and worth the money !
I bought this sprayer to apply some nematodes to my lawn . The directions were very clear and easy to follow . I also had to follow the instructions as to how to mix the nematodes with water before adding to the sprayer . Both processes were easy to follow . I would definitely buy one of these sprayers again . Would I buy the nematodes again ??????? Probably not , but that's a subject for a different review . ... show more

Well made and easy to use. I wanted a sprayer with the ability to adjust the spray mixture. This has that - fill the container, select the desired mixture from tablespoons to ounces, and you're good to go. Good sprayer for the money. Only issue is if you're using a liquid which contains some thicker, gel-like matter mixed in, the small inlet screen can become clogged. It's easy to take apart and wash off the screen so either make certain the fertilizer or liquid is well shaken or mixed, or strain the mixture before adding it to the spray container. ... show more

This definitely got the job done when it came to spraying weed and grass killer over a .45 acre. There are several spray nozzles you can rotate between. When I was using this I tripped and flung the bottle and the whole thing came apart. Luckily it was fairly easy to reassemble (only needed a screw driver). The only improvement opportunity for this product would be more sturdy and less plastic materials. ... show more

I’ve been searching for the perfect hose-end sprayer for years now and have tried multiple products—including just about everything available on Amazon that’s worth trying. This is by far the best option I’ve found thus far. This sprayer is extremely easy to refill, it doesn’t leak at the fittings, and it maintains excellent dispersion without [easily] clogging. However, more viscous solutions—such as fish hydrolysate—may prevent complete spraying and slightly clog the openings. My go-to formula that works very well in this sprayer is humic acid, kelp extract, and yucca extra. I apply the humic:kelp at 5:2 and at 2 fl oz to my lawn and garden. ... show more
