I have no desire to wall mount these racks. But, my stove top is a bit slanted, so these racks slant backwards at a slight angle. I could probably get away with not securing these to the wall, but it really needs to be secured somehow. These racks are an excellent product, but I wouldn't get it again, knowing that my stove back is not as flat as I thought it was.
