The media could not be loaded. i love the durability, authentic feel, forward design. this piece will maintain the trunk open functionality and the camera will actually “disappear” into the bezel when not in use. i purchased the “total tech” package (one year for 199$) from best buy as i want to upgrade my 4 cars audio/back up cameras and they said they had never seen or installed a camera like this. it functions great with the after market stereo and even has guide lines when in reverse. ... show more

    • Guide lines are WAY too narrow!

The Good - Great fit and finish. The unit itself installs and feels just like OEM. Camera picture quality is very good (RCA version to RCD-330 head unit). The Bad - The guide lines are so narrow that they indicate the inside of the tires! That’s about 2 feet too narrow, if you include the width of the mirrors. And that’s on a small 2012 Golf.! They are useless, not to mention dangerous. If only there was a way to adjust them, this camera would get 5 stars. I contacted the manufacturer (Navinio) about it and was told, “sorry the lines can’t be adjusted, but if you want to remove them, just cut the white wire”. That’s actually opposite of reality. The camera out of the box, has a white wire loop (no guide lines). If you cut the loop, then you get the inaccurate lines. That’s probably why it wasn't even mentioned in the installation instructions. I had to reconnect the wire loop (no guide lines) as it was just an accident waiting to happen. Now I have a camera that I specifically purchased because It had guidelines, but found out after 2.5 hrs installation time, they are unusable. I know I can’t be the only one out there. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. After paying to have this unit installed. It worked the first 24 hours. The next day it did not work. When I took off the trunk panel to look at wiring everything was fine but I was getting no image on my radio deck. I started squeezing the wire coming out of the camera that’s hooks up to the rca cable and I was able to get an image. Once I let go of the cable the image went away. As if there is a short or bad connection with this harness to camera. The plug is talking about is the one with the white loop for backup guidelines. In process of correcting issue with seller. Will update if the problem gets rectified. ... show more

This product is amazing. Extremely well put together. Although this product appears to be Chinese, it might as well be OEM. Pretty easy to install, hardest part is fishing it through the boot. Only criticism is the instructions aren’t very well printed. It’s self explanatory enough that you don’t really need them though. Definitely would buy again. ... show more

    • It never worked the way it should have

This product was not as advertised there were a few additional parts needed. I had my stereo reconfigured to support a rear camera. Once the camera was installed and you put the automobile in reverse you get a blank screen that says looks clear but you don't see anything..
