This is one of my favorite purchases from Amazon. It is not only convenient with all the extra tools, but it saves time because you don't have all the hair on the floor to clean up. It's quiet and works great. Previous to buying this FurMe, I used Andes clippers. They worked fine, but there was always a huge mess to clean up on the floor afterwards. With FurMe the hair goes into the storage container which is very easy to empty. As far as capacity, I can groom my Standard Poodle without having to empty it. It fills up about 3/4 with my Golden Doodle's hair. I think the capacity is more than sufficient for my use. I also use it on my short haired 10 pound Chihuahua mix rescue for deshedding. He has Pekingese in his blood line and got some of that Pekingese hair. It does a great job with that too. I'm posting a picture of my FurMe, and the hair in it belongs to my husband! Yes, it works great on his hair too. So this has worked out to be a big cost saver for me. I'm saving $400 on having my 3 dogs (Standard Poodle, Golden Doodle and Chihuahua rescue groomed and $25 plus tip to have my husband's hair cut. This product is everything as described and more. We have two Golden Doodles and a lasoapso. The trimmer works great provided your dogs fur is not matted. The vacum feature is amazing. Picks up 99% of the cut fur. Its quiet and does not scare or bother our dogs. The FurMe paid for itself in just first time us grooming the 3 dogs ourself instead of getting them groomed. Initial grooming took about one hour per dog. Followed up 30 days later with a total body trim... and it only took 20 minutes per dog. FurMe is a great product. This review is legit and not a paid for review. I have an Aussie who spends a lot of time in the house with the family. I don't have time to constantly clean up dog hair. Getting into the groomer, plus the anxiety and stress on the dog is just too much. I am so glad to have this machine! 7 doggos means a lot of hair. It’s quiet! Don’t let anyone say otherwise. East to clean! Does a great job. Not scary for the dogs (I haven’t tried in on the cats yet).

I finally got both cats to allow me to de-shed them for a little while. Works great, but starting slow. Mire than the noise, they don’t like the hose. Its a shame that i have so many implements for dogs i will never use. Seems like a sturdy machine.

Had to give this one a review but if you have a short attention span, let me say it's a great purchase! 0 incentive to write this other than I wanted to help fellow pet lovers out. I've worked it into our nightly routine for a shepard and my chocolate lab before they get thier nightly treat and 0 issues, in fact they're excited for it. Both dogs are shedding a basketball worth daily and this makes it easy to deshed them. Not crazy loud even on the highest setting, all the attachments you'd need with a hair quick release that's instantly caught in the container. Absolutely love it, dogs are excited, reduced shedding in the house, so easy a crayon eating soldier could use it. It's been worth every penny! ... show more

I have multiple animals between cats and dogs and this thing works amazing. I got the same amount of fur off my long hair cat that I did off my St Bernard. I had no idea her fur was even that thick! It's quiet and so easy. It's pricy but worth it.

Absolutely love this product !! We have 4 dogs, 2 Pomskys a wooly Husky and a Shih Tzu. It cut the grooming time in half , with no messy cleanup !!
