The media could not be loaded. A couple times a year I buy a new set of precision screwdrivers (or, more frequently, a handle with interchangeable bits), hoping that some day I'll find the perfect one. This isn't it... but it's close enough that I forsee it becoming part of the select few sets I own which get actual USE. The video shows my favorite feature (the case), but doesn't elaborate on how well the screwdriver actually works. This part took me a minute to come to terms with, because my initial reaction was to think, "seems underpowered and overly hard to hold." But that's the wrong perspective. What the limitations of this driver amount to is torque control. Remember: this is generally for tiny screws in more delicate devices that could easily be stripped or cracked. But when the motor bogs down or the driver begins to spin in your fingers, you know it's tight enough. Sometimes I say things like this to be sarcastic; in this case, I'm sincere (or at least trying to rationalize weaknesses in a product that I really want to like). My only outright criticism is the difficulty of finding the buttons by feel alone. They're mostly flush with the cylindrical body, and are not radically different in texture. And since there's no geometry to orient your hand on the screwdriver, I ended up having to spend more time than I'd like just to get the forward/reverse controls under my fingertip. If you're looking for a powered precision screwdriver set, this one is priced about right and should do the jobs you need it for. Plus, the case really IS quite satisfying... ... show more

    • Product stopped working in 40 days. Poor product
Used product for just over 1 month an then completely stopped working. Product charges up and lights work but the rotary screw function went completely dead. thanks a lot for a faulty product that fails after your return date. What a ripoff.

The media could not be loaded. I love this little set! I have been using it to remove and replace light switch covers for painting, and s.all projects around the house. The included case would be perfect, accept it doesn't have room for the USB charging cable and the magnetizer/demagnetizer tool. The driver itself is excellent with enough torque to remove the screws on switch cover plates. Additionally it has enough torque to tighten the screws on switch cover plates without stripping the female threads, or cracking the cover. The light is well diffused so you can see what you are working on (I flip breakers before removing/installing switch cover plates). It has a great selection of bits and the magnet in the driver holds with enough force that the bits don't fall out but not so much that you need pliers to pull them out. In the video you will see at the start it appears to struggle, however that was just me not pushing the button all of the way. This is a great tool to keep in the drawer and increases the speed and efficiency of small projects around the house. I have also used this to remove a panel on my laptop to replace the battery, and it made quick work of taking out all of the little screws that hold the bottom panel on. ORIA’s cordless power screwdriver can be a handy and useful tool for dealing with small screws. The selection of bits that come with the kit cover an expansive range of screw heads. Each bit is engraved with type and size. The driver has a built-in LED lamp that floods the work area with light and can be switched on or off. The screwdriver’s motor can rotate the bit in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. The instructions state that the driver be charged at least once a month and that screws should be initially cracked loose by manually twisting the driver before applying power. If the torque required to break the screw loose, is greater than the holding torque when not powered, you need to switch to another tool. The kit comes in an unusual case that stores all 48 bits and the driver but doesn’t hold the provided charging cord or the magnetizer / de-magnetizer tool. The trick to opening the case is to push down on the center of the top and it will pop open. This screwdriver performed better than my expectations. I assumed it would be underpowered, fragile, and have a short useful life. In my limited testing so far, disassembling and assembling gear with appropriately sized screws, the screwdriver performed well and didn’t break. Learning where to use this tool and when to use bigger tools is part of the journey. Overall, I am pleasantly surprised with this screwdriver. ... show more
