I am spoiled. I can get olive oil pretty cheap from someone that I know. My hook up didn’t have any so I had to get more olive oil. The price is exorbitant for how tiny the tin is. I actually prefer the olive oil that comes in a 10 because I have yet to have one of those leak. I have had several glass bottles leak over the years and it is infuriating, especially if you get it into the upholstery of your car. Tip for the tinned olive oil: pull the pour spout out. When are you hoping the lady will be able to pull the plastic pourspout out, which will help significantly with pouring and not making a mess. I did not know this until about halfway through a much larger container and I was like why is this always spilling? The flavor of this is really good. I absolutely love it for salad dressings where I really want the oil to shine. Also really nice on top of a homemade hummus. I would consider getting this again if the price was lower. ... show more

Organic Everyday Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tin (500ml) First impressions: It’s smaller than I expected. There is only about a pint or so in the tin for over 20 dollars. That’s quite expensive compared to big box stores. The smell is good, very mild. Installation/setup: Open tin and use. I would recommend using a funnel and putting it in another container, it is hard to use this way. It spills all over the top and side when you try to pour it. Final thoughts: The oil inside is very tasty and works well for anything you would use olive oil for. The smell is mild and the flavor is too. I used this for frying up some sliced potatoes in a small pan and the final dish was delicious. I like this and I’m glad I got it. I had to take stars off for the high price. ⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend. ... show more

I've had the opportunity to use this with a variety of dishes and it has performed amazingly! I have increasingly been using cast iron over a burner or open flame and am impressed with the results I get with this oil. Salmon and chicken in particular have been especially delicious, whether I am searing or roasting. Steaks also respond well either on the grate or griddle....this oil seems to handle every task I use it for. Will definitely be looking for more when this runs low. ... show more

This is a smallish tin of imported, single varietal, olive oil. This olive oil is noticeably more flavorful than our usual brand. If quality = taste I’d say this is a high quality product. We like olive oil but I had never tried this brand so I was interested in trying it. Note while I did receive the product for free, I do have to pay income taxes on the full value of it. My review is based solely on the product itself, nothing more. This is nice brand of olive oil. You can use it to dip bread or in salad dressing where the flavor really comes through or use it for cooking. Alas the tin is on the smaller side. I don’t have a large pantry or a lot of room for tall, skinny bottles of olive oil. I like how this one comes in a tin can which is both different and practical for storage. For most of uses of olive oil, I will cook with it but for this small can, I’ll probably reserve this one for salads, dipping, and other straight uses to preserve and enjoy its natural, olive oil flavor. I frequently cook with olive oil, and I've been using a variety of different brands for years. I was recently looking for a new oil to try, and I came across Organic Everyday Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The oil has a mild, fruity flavor that is perfect for everyday cooking. It's not too strong, so it doesn't overpower the other flavors in my dishes. I compared this to my normal grocery store organic olive oil and they taste very comparable. I use this for cooking and for non stick in pans so I'm not an olive oil snob by any means. It's good but I can't taste the quality over generic organic olive oil. The aluminum can is neat, however, I use a glass sprayer bottle so I empty this into that anyway but I did notice it poured out slow from the aluminum can. ... show more
