  • Office Plants are Thriving

I work in an office and people love to dump old water on plants. This coir helps my plants avoid root rot and they're also growing new leaves like crazy now. Excellent product and great for the money.

  • Seems to be a good addition to soil
Color: Pack of 1
I'm a newbie gardener and one of the plants (really a tree) that I've been trying to grow is avocado. I did the whole avocado pit in water until it started to sprout and then moved into a small pot (on right in picture), only using potting soil. Once it got bigger, I added this coconut coir to the bottom of the next size pot (on left in picture) and moved the avocado plant(/tree) over. Once this gets a little bigger, I'll move it to a much larger pot, as it'll be too cold to plant it outside, again using a mix of soil and coir. ... show more

  • Coco coir, like potting soil
Color: Pack of 4
FAST delivery! I had to add extra water, and they make a lot of potting "soil". I also added some liquid fertilizer to this as part of the water. 5 gallon buckets of potatoes are growing great!

  • Did not expand well.
I have tried other brands of coconut coir before and had no issues. This came compressed as usual, but after over an hour and tons and tons of water, these barely expanded and separated. My typical experience is that they begin to expand immediately. I ended up having to break up each individual brick by hand, and it felt like the water was literally just beading off of it. I bought 12 bricks and I bought this brand, to try to buy in bulk for a large bed, and I deeply regret it. Each brick definitely did not expand to 2.5 gallons as advertised, and after hours of trying to break it up, I still have dry hard clumps mixed in that aren’t expanding. Will not buy again. ... show more

Easy to use and great for starting seeds. Soil is so soft and breedable keeps the moist moisture.
