I’ve been using Oral B electric toothbrushes for many years. My second one just got glitchy a few weeks ago, so I decided to get a new one. Oral-B is by far the superior brand, so I only had to choose which model to get. I went with the IO9 because, for the features I need, want, and like, it was the best value. The key feature that made me select it over a lower priced model was the included charging travel case. I don’t travel often, but it will be very handy when I do, especially when going overseas. I was also interested in the app that connects to the toothbrush to track brushing. It’s really amazing. Other reviews have called it a gimmick, but I often get distracted when brushing, and I know I don’t focus brushing all sections of my teeth, so I’ve longed for something like this. It shows me exactly where I’m brushing, and it indicates when I’ve spent the correct amount of time with the correct pressure. This toothbrush is so much quieter than my last one, and my teeth feel cleaner. The shape of the toothbrush shaft is much sleeker than the last and more natural to hold. It is costly, but it would be a valuable investment in your oral health if you choose it. I highly recommend if it’s in your price range. I purchased this electric toothbrush for my daughter. Her’s had stopped working and her birthday was coming up. I was timid about the cost quite honestly but the reviews were all stellar. She loves it so much she bought one for her husband because he kept on using hers (it came with 2 toothbrushes). They both are amazed at how clean their teeth feel after using it actually comparing it to the feeling you get after having your teeth cleaned at the dentist. The charging is quick and the choice of functions is helpful. It’s very stylish…for the cost it is definitely well worth the investment. I have just ordered another as a gift for my son & I have no doubt he’ll love it as well!
